Chosen Solution when I switch on my power button, laptop starts as if it is about to boot up, but displays a white screen for awhile and restarts itself and it’s a continuous loop until I switch it off. (I wanted to attach video of the situation but i don’t know how to on this site.) Any help is much appreciated. Thanks This model had a GPU issue. See if it will start in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on start up and let us know your results....

Chosen Solution my mac book needs frequent SMC reset and PRAM reset to start up. now i am decided to change mag-safe board. what do you advice me? Save the money, magsafe board isn’t touched at all by Pram or Smc resets. Smc resets power management Ic..Pram resets boot parameters..which of the two works ? What is exactly the problem before you reset all and everything ? Please review these two Apple T/N’s....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, I found this interesting but I guess I have a more complicated problem. My Monitor was not turning on, I tried removing the RAM, Power supply, CMOS and it still refused to start. But after, I noticed a little button close to the power supply. When I pressed it and switched the monitor on, It actually worked ok. I thought that was it. Into the next day, the Monitor still refused to work....

Chosen Solution my panasonic viera blinks 8 times. anyone has any ideia ??? thanks guys @casanvi in most cases if you get the 8 blink code is caused by the SS board sending a fail code. Check the capacitors on the mainboard as well, for any bulging leaking or otherwise damaged looking. If you post some images of your boards we can see what you see. Use this guide for that....

Chosen Solution My phone screen is showing white lines all over it you most likely have a bad connector pin inside the phone. I would need to know much more before diagnosing further. Update (04/04/2016) my bet is that you have a blown out backlight on the phone. there are 2 filters for the backlight - one for each side of the phone. the fact that you have a “half black” phone tells me that one of the filters is blown....

Chosen Solution While doing my data transfer from my old droid to the new Galaxy S8 my phone turned off. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to backup my phone prior to this so I’m curious as to whether I have lost all my stuff from my old phone. If so is there any way I can get it back? My new phone was able to grab some stuff that was backed up years ago but I’m more interested in getting everything transferred....

Chosen Solution Took apart my sisters ipod touch 2g… (replacing the screen). Took the battery off with a small metal, screwdriver and the battery got a bit marred (“streaks” on the back where adhesive was) But I might have a small puncture in the plastic of the battery (1/64 inch) The plastic is also very slightly puffed up around the batt, just like it got pulled a little by the adhesive Should I be concerned?...

Chosen Solution My phone slipped from my hands and fell face down on the floor. When I picked it up there were long lines on the right side of the face; otherwise there were small verticle lines up and down the face of the cellphone. The phone will not respond except of be powered down or restarted. the screen is broken, get it replaced and it should be fine

When I call people and talk through the phone speakers everything is good but when I switch to loud speakers, nobody can hear me and all they hear is loud noise not even close to person’s talk. I also tried to check the loud speaker and when I record an audio the sound is clear and it records my voice clearly....

Chosen Solution When I answer a call the volume of the person that is talking on the opposite side is at a very low volume. This happens on every call I answer, even though the volume setting is at the maximum. No matter what I’ve tried the volume is very low and I can’t hear the other person. Can you also hear same scratches, noises? Or its just very quiet?

Chosen Solution My phone got a little wet. I’ve seen safemode before and deactivated it once in the past but I forgot how I did it. I’ve tried -rebooting the phone -leaving the battery out -holding down ‘power off’ on screen and waiting for options (none came up) -holding down vol up/down while powering on the device I CAN get into the phone diagnostics by holding home and volume up/down at same time while phone is booting but the only options I see is update and reset the device (which erases all apps and defaults the phone)....

Chosen Solution Peace, I got HTC One M7 from a friend and I renewed it with parts that I bought online. Lcd connector was opened, by me, to the wrong position and a tiny piece is broken, now i am getting blurred/stripes/snow and i don’t know if i recieved it like that. I mean, I defenetly broke the connector but I am not sure if the display was fine before. I want to know if replacing the connector is worth a shot or could it be IC related issue ?...

Chosen Solution My GE dishwasher fills with water, but diverts water to sewer instead of the washing head. I has a very low water flow, so I changed the water flow valve. I get plenty water now. But in the cycle after approx. 20 seconds of water flow the drain to sewer starts for 10 seconds. At this time it goes to wash mode. I can see some water on bottom and head has moved some around some, but not enough water to see running down the sides....

Changed filter.What else could it be? Kenmore side by side indoor içe maker 106.5113 Sounds like it’s the shutoff arm. The last time I replaced my ice maker I didn’t install the arm correctly, and got it stuck in the off position....

Chosen Solution Hi all, this is my first post. My iPad pro 2018 12.9 inch (model 1895) went black during usage outside at 28°C. Then I noticed that the actual display shows picture but the backlight is not illuminating any more. I have opened the iPad and checked the logic board for visual damage but everything seems to be OK. The filters next to the display connectors are also ok. Does someone has experienced this issue or has the schematic for my ipad?...

Chosen Solution My phone has water marks in it , I was using it in the pool yesterday and it just happend the phone works perfectly fine . It turns on and it’s really functioning. What do I do , would I have to pay Water damage is tricky. It can work for now, but eventually things could get brittle due to corrosion. I’d take it somewhere to get the excess cleared off the logic board....
