Chosen Solution My laptop doesn’t connect to the Wifi unless I’m using a Ethernet cable or right next to my router but even then I get 3-4 bars. I have tried everything from deleting the driver and reinstalling it but nothing has worked my wifi driver is Broadcom 102.11n It may be a defective wireless adapter or it could be a problem with the antennae connection. If you open the case you can check to see that the wireless antennae connections are firmly snapped into the wireless adapter....

When I charged it to use it again it was not charging. and not turning on Hi, After not being used for 12 months most probably the battery has failed and needs to be replaced. Also the reason that the phone doesn’t start when the charger is connected is that most likely the charger can’t run the phone and charge the battery at the same time....

Chosen Solution Is there a way to replace the power input on the bottom of the unit? When I plug in the power cord it doesn’t sit properly. I bought a new cable and have the same issue. I wanted to go on my tablet/nook and it wouldn’t turn on. when i plugged it in it goes green for a couple of seconds and it went orange for about 5 seconds and went off, i have left it over night and see if it could get enough power to turn on and it didn’t i even put it on charge for 2-3 months....

If it does then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. Chosen Solution hi, i have a sony kdl55w805a which led blink alternates between amber and green when i switch it on. Detaching the flat cable (LVDS) results in led blinking 5 times. i have ruled out the LVDS cable after test for continuity at both ends with one end connected to the T-con and video board at a time. Chosen Solution Hi, iv got a MacBook Air 11" (Mid 2011) 820-3024 which will run fine on the charger, but when the charger is unplugged it turns off. Iv tried 2x different chargers and 2x different dc in boards and it still wont charge. The battery has been changed and when it had charge in it the mac would run fine off the battery alone, until it went flat, then wont charge again....

Chosen Solution Decided to resurect my old Macbook Pro 15” 2010. The battery was swollen so ordered a new one and the laptop worked for about 30 glorious minutes. I went through the process to master reset it but came back to it completely dead. No sign of life, the magsafe isnt showing an led colour whilst plugged in, but using a test wand shows it is transfering power. Where do i go from here?...

Chosen Solution It is the weirdest thing. At first I thought it was a software issue but it won’t work on any version. Apparently my MBP won’t wake the screen up after opening the lid when the backplate/lid/cover is on. Any ideas why? Very odd! Apple uses a Hall Sensor which detects the magnet when it comes close to it. This fires off a circuit to disable the backlight enabling the lid down signal which then turns off the backlight....

Try this and let me know how you go Settins > Apps or App manager > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data (you wont lose messages) > force stop > then disable and enable, see if that allows you to open messages again
