Chosen Solution Hi all, I am working in a repair shop in Ireland and in the last few days we have been having major problems with charging port/bottom microphone replacements on iPhone 8’s and 8 Plus. What’s happening is this: The port is replaced but the microphone seems to fade in and out. Usually there is a bit of range, you can usually hold the phone an inch or two away from the mouth and it would be fine but now unless your mouth is touching the grill you can’t hear anything....

Chosen Solution The person I am talking to can’t hear anything from me on my motorola e5 plus cricket smartphone 32 gb Hi @joshmc, Try using headphones with a microphone attachment plugged into the phone when on a call and check if you can be heard OK. Alternatively try using the phone in loudspeaker mode (handsfree mode) to check. If you still cannot be heard using either of the above methods then there is a problem with the voice transmission circuits in the phone....

Chosen Solution My Murray rider mower with B&S engine #283707 sat at an angle this winter, started o.k. then blowing black oil and white smoke out exhaust and will not start back up. Pulled off air filter, no gas in reservoir and an oily film. Should I prime carb w/gas and try to restart? Gas had preserver in it for the winter. Thanks check for clean spark plug, check if there is a good spark and try....

Chosen Solution I tried to reboot it and every time a blue screen comes up with text at the bottom saying setup is starting but there is an error box in the middle of the page which says Windows could not collect information for [OSImage] since the specified image file [install.wim] does not exist. Please Help I have this problem too it seams that there is problem with OS and you have no backup in your HD so i guess you have to insert the disk and reinstall windows

Chosen Solution My MBP display freezes and develops lines on moving the lid. I apply pressure on the top of the screen with lid open, then it becomes unfrozen & I am able to use it with no issues. If the lid position changes, it again freezez. I gave it to apple service. They said the entire display needs to be replaced and it costs half the price of the macbook....

Chosen Solution can I download my operating system from somewhere since my hard drive had to be replaced Google “download Windows 10” or whatever your OS is. OEM factory installed systems have licenses injected into the system board. As long as you install the correct version, it will work. Hey hubertkeene This looks like an older laptop, you may have to install Windows with the Windows Install Disc. You can attempt to create bootable media for Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 to install to the new drive....

Chosen Solution two days ago i took my iPhone to swimming , i took a video under water for seconds . in the same day my iPhone stuck suddenly on black screen and not respond until i force restart it .the screen works fine, colours are good , the speakers ,sensors all of them works fine but when i lock it and leave it ,it stuck on the black screen. I used rice and hair drier with no heat , now i see progress when it stuck i press the home button for several times and the screen shows....

Chosen Solution My iPod nano 7th gen is just displaying white on the screen and the display just goes bright and dim all the time even if I try to put it on sleep, but before it had an all-white display, there were lines appearing. Is it just the screen or is it the board as well? ‘Cause I’ve dropped it as well, actually. But when it got dropped at that time, it was still working fine....

Chosen Solution this is what came up Hi Sxylena, Somehow your Windows installation got messed up; as the error message states it could be from a hardware or software change. In any event, it’s telling you that it can’t repair itself without the installation disk or media. If you have an install disk or USB drive, then you should be able to insert it in the CDROM drive or USB port, whichever you have and boot to that drive....

Chosen Solution Hello, I just changed my MOTO G5 display that I bought on Ifixit EU store and now I can’t charge it anymore. Chosen Solution i did not drop the phone from the salt water but some water comes from the waves that rinse my phone from my screen or volume and USB ports. is it possible to go inside the volume or the side of the screen ? .. it happens to me on the 1st day. then it notice me that i should unplug my charger then i let it dry then at the end of the day my phone charges then after 3 days....

Chosen Solution I accidently got a magnet suck to the front and also the back of my phone it turned itself off and now wont power on at all what can i do? Unless you ordered the kind of magnets with snap together force that can break bones I would not worry about magnet damage. Find a replacement battery on amazon.

Chosen Solution I use AirPods gen 1 and even with a full charge, the left Airpod dies after 3-5 minutes of using it. I have to put it in the case for a few seconds to get the sound back, but it dies again in a few minutes. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Chosen Solution The 3.5 mm headphone/microphone jack on my Lenovo Legion Y545 has been broken from a headphone cable being yanked out of it at a weird angle. Whenever I plug a headphone cable into it, I either hear nothing or when I turn the audio jack at a certain angle, I only hear audio from the left side of my headphones. Chosen Solution Hi, I was watching TV yesterday and suddenly the screen went black, it seemed like part of the image was “leaking” down. When I power it on now, I only get this pattern, no LG logo no nothing. Chosen Solution The Vizio d320-1b TV turns on. I get the Vizio V logo. Then everything becomes white lines. the menus go from being 2 inches wide to a 4 or 5 inch wide white line. I can change the menu and the image will change. I just can read it. When I play a blue ray the picture is stretched like the menu. every once in a while the picture comes back for about 3 seconds then goes away....

Chosen Solution I have an old tablet that was working great and suddenly it just would not start. How do I know if its a problem with the charging connector or if it is the battery that is dead ? It is a YUANDAO N90 9.7" Android 4.1 .
