Chosen Solution I like to think there are some painless ways to fix my macbook but the only reason I can think of is its battery. It says the condition is normal though. Does your laptop over heat? I am not too knowledgeable about Macs but when I had a HP laptop that exhibited this behaviour it was due to a dead fan which caused over heating and made my laptop shutdown intermittently ....
Chosen Solution one of my cusans was playing with it but wane he gave me it back it will not raed games Hey, the slot were the games go into is most likely damaged or needs to be cleaned. If you look in the slot, there is a door that needs to be lifted up and you can see the pins that read the game. Shine a light into the slot and see if any of the pins are bent out of position or they have a green color corrosion over them....
Chosen Solution after doing a dual installation of windows10 and Ubuntu 18.04 operating systems on my notebook, the windows operating system has stopped working. when i select the windows OS at boot up the message’“ windows automatic repairs “ shows up and the process does not go beyond this level. when i try to re install windows 10 on the notebook, the process begins but the machine does not identify any hard drive and so i am hooked up....

When I try to re open it… the bios settings are defaulted everytime Hi, The BIOS settings defaulting when the laptop is off indicates that the RTC battery is flat (no pun intended - it is a coin cell battery) and it needs to be replaced. Chosen Solution My macbook pro stopped charging. whilst I had battery remaining it would still boot and worked fine, suggesting there was no battery issue. I swapped out the magsafe module and upon connecting the power the charging light came on, the mac power up “chord” sounded…….and then nothing. The power light went out and the mac is still dead. the only other work I’ve had to perform prior to this was a dead HDD a couple of moths ago, and after I’d replaced that there were no indications of any other problems prior to this....

Chosen Solution My laptop fell off the bed and now the screen stays black when turning it on. There is no visible physical damage to the screen. I have plugged it into a monitor and everything is working including the touch function on thre screen. I have opened the bottom of the laptop and disconnected and reconnected the battery and unplugged and reconnected the display cable going to the motherboard. Should I order a new screen?...

Chosen Solution Hi there: Was recently given this phone by someone who didnt want to pay to repair the screen. Digitizer is fine, screen is cracked in three places near the top. Above one of the cracks the screen is still touch receptive, unfortunately that is all. Ive only found ONE video on youtube of someone repairing this phones screen with instructions in English but the poster has this godawful elevator music playing so loud you cannot hear her....

Chosen Solution it started with the original usb c port burning out. the burnt smell by the usb c port was very noticeable. and the macbook stopped charging or turning on (the battery was already dead before the burnt). I bought an usb c port and replaced it. the computer booted up. i figured i fixed it and connected the battery, then the usbc port got burnt out again. could the problem be with the battery?...
Chosen Solution Hello I have a Zenbook 14 UX433FN which had some water damage. I opened it up and disconnected the battery then placed it in some cat litter so it would dry up but stupid me placed it with the exposed motherboard. I sent it in a repair shop and they say that the motherboard is missing some transistors in the side facing towards the bottom. If anyone have a diagram for the motherboard, some high res images or is willing having a look at an out-of-warranty motherboard for the missing transistors that would be cool....

Chosen Solution my doogee s60 keeps turning itself on and off the battery charges 100% no damage nothing cracked can anyone help It happens with mine every 3 days up to 3 times a day. That’s a ‘normal behavior’ of that phone. Additionally to the self-restart the exposed phone keys can also lead to ‘pocket restarts’ caused by unintended ‘holding’ of the power button. Maybe updating to Oreo will help, but there will not be an official update so update on your own risk....
