Chosen Solution My phone was working fine, recently it’s side buttons got defective, around the same time once when restarted I was treated with ‘Fastboot’ screen which appears on holding down the power button and then disappears (while trying to turn on the phone). Chosen Solution What makes a car throw a rod The tick tick tick’ing is a loose tappet usually caused by wear and tear on the rod or insufficient torque on the valve spring. Either the tappet (and any associated worn or damaged parts) will need to be replaced or if not severely damaged the valve spring can be adjusted to the recommend/required tension which will eliminate the ticking. If your car had “thrown a rod” when in reference to tappets the damage would be much more severe and in some cases the tappet will be punctured through the valve cover....

The problem is most likely caused by a partially torn home button cable. It may get worse later on so if it completely stops working the home button must be replaced, note that replacing the home button will result in no touch ID but a functional button....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone into a lake, im not too sure on how deep the water is there but i got it out after less than five minutes of it being under the water. Ive had it in rice for awhile now but it doesnt seem to be getting any better, the screen is completely fine and then it starts flashing and sometimes it goes completely black. It turned on and i thought everything was ok, but then as i tried typing my pass code the screen wouldn’t respond. If the laptop appears dead, then the problem may be electrical in origin. When turn on display is good, but after few minutes display will become distorted and when I open something brighter like browser or folder, display will become yellow tint. Pressuring the center back near where the bottom of the LCD cable (Pic 2) returns the other half of the screen but still keeps the lines. Is it the LCD that is broken or the cable? Chosen Solution Hello, My LED fades from about 1/3 below the top of the screen. The screen starts fine and slowly fades to a white grayish color. The upper section of the LCD (for earlier models) house the electronics of the panel, and squeezing it may be re-engaging something that’s not happy....
