It seems to be labeled “d L8p” and I can’t seem to find it on Google. I’ve attached images of the board. Update (04/15/2020) Unfortunately, I lost the part. Chosen Solution This happened 4 months ago, the screen of my very cheap A grade display gone nearly pitch black with nothing. But, the touch still works because I connect it to my apple tv. So, I would like to know that the LCD is faulty or the IC are bad now. Try another screen to see if that fixes it. If not then you’ve got a board issue.

Chosen Solution So this problem kind of occurred out of the blue. My left joycon is not working. When I slide it into the switch It’s only recognized for a second and Then continually flickers between being connected and not being connected. It only stays connected for a second at a time. When I take the joycon off the switch it cannot connect at all. Like the switch does not even recognize it no matter what buttons I push....

At some points it turned on and in other I all I could hear was the opening and closing sound, the vibrations of the home button. Chosen Solution I closed the lid on my MacBook and after I woke if from sleep the backlight slightly flickers, its a consistent flicker and very slight but also very noticeable. It only happens when there are light colors on the screen (which makes sense if its a backlight issue). When i plugged it in the flicker went away for a few seconds but then it came back. I have already tried resetting smc and pvram/nvram to no avail...

We´ve tried changing the heatsink without results. Or at least positive results. I can be surfing in safari or playing CIV V which is the hardest thing this machine has ever done - and it suddenly shuts down without warning....

I would suspect the display cable has failed. This is a known issue with the 2016-2019 USB-C model laptops commonly referred to as “Flexgate.” Apple has a service program that I would recommend taking advantage of if you can. The service program only officially covers one two 2016 models, but the same design defect is known to be present in the 2017 models....
Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro’s battery was swelling so I had to have it removed. Since the store that did it doesn’t stock this battery, I’m now using the computer without a battery until they can order one. The computer is out of warranty and Apple quoted me a ridiculously high price for a replacement, so I had to go to a 3rd party repair shop. There was some water damage and in task manager “kernel_task" is using up the cpu which I believe means its throttling itself. But when I got TG Pro to diagnose it it says the optical drive temperature sensor may be bad but theres no optical drive in macbook airs?...
