Chosen Solution i got a used 3ds for christmas and the bottom screen has a broken screenlight. adjusting the brightness dosent help at all; how can i fix it? You will need a new bottom lcd, they can be picked up from ebay/amazon quite cheap and there are guides on here how to fit them try reseating the power cables for the lcd, if that doesn’t work you need to replace the whole lcd (5-10$)

If the computer recognizes it, but it doesn’t charge it? It is not recognized it sounds like they might have accidentally ripped your dock connector flex during the screen replacement, or left it disconnected for some reason

Hi @jbraja Check that the Power On button is not stuck down in the operated position. The power button is part of the keyboard assembly and if it “appears” to be permanently operated the laptop won’t turn on....
Chosen Solution I have a Razer Blade Stealth 2017, and the battery was dead showing 255% when plugged in, and completely shutting down when not plugged in. So I swapped the battery with a new one from Ifixit. After the swap I powered up the laptop with it unplugged, and it worked it said 54% battery so I went to do the battery Calibration as the guide says. I plugged it in and left it to charge for a few hours when I got back it was at 90% but it did not say charging anymore so I decided to unplug it, and let it drain....

Chosen Solution Started with battery failure. (Swelled and lifted the screen) Replaced the battery, then it wouldn’t power on. Worked it down to 3.3v missing. Chosen Solution I plug in and light comes on. but no heat I have only used it a few times even though I have had it awhile Just open the Iron and adjust the thermo control and see it’s heating or not . If the Iron got heat it’s ok or if not heat check the elements in the bottom then you can sure the fault. Normally Heating devices are protected with what we called “Thermal Fuse” which are connected in Series to the Main Line, If you can locate it it looks like a small fuse, crimped in a wire sometimes and comes in a different color like yellow, white or black....

I’m going to clean the track pad (or replace if needed). My question is, can damage on the trackpad affect the display? Chosen Solution Hello, I spilled tea (Sugar+Milk) and I turned it off, put it up side down. keep it off for 3 days and than tried to turn it on but sadly it did’t worked. I disassemble the logic board and cleaned it with mother board cleaner. Sorry but I am not able to find isopropyl alcohol. Well it still not turning on. Now some tech guy suggest me to dip logic board in water for few hours and than wash it with water again....
