Tonight i was watching a movie when all of a sudden it just shut off and there was no power. No lights when the charger is plugged in. Tried holding the power button for 15 seconds (no pin reset on this model) and let it sit for 30 minutes before plugging it back in....

So yesterday I was using it, randomly $@$* off and won’t start now. Also when plugged in, there is no charger light anymore. i think the logic board is fried or something is wrong with that connection. any ideas? ive tried resetting svram and everything....
Chosen Solution Hi, I recently took apart my MacBook Pro to replace the already 10-year-old thermal paste. I put everything back together, and everything works perfectly except for the backlight of the internal display. Upon powering on the system, the backlight flickers on bright, then dies immediately. The LCD itself still works, as I am able to hold a flashlight up to the display and that there is still an image on the screen....
Chosen Solution Need some help with this old thing. It started power cycling today out of nowhere, and the speed has increased to the point where remotes and manual operation are impossible. At first it behaved like IR(?) interference, then it seemed like a bad remote, then it seemed like the powered OTA antenna, then it behaved like a Fire Cube issue. I’ve tried removing each item/category from the situation, 1 by 1, but the issue keeps coming back....

I cleaned a couple of the logic boards with alcohol and let them dry overnight. When connected to power, the magsafe led is very dim and will not turn on at all. I would find my way to an Apple Store as this sounds like a logic board issue. Chosen Solution The computer will boot and run normally off of AC power with the battery disconnected. With both the battery and AC adapter connected, however, the it will shut down halfway through the startup sequence (after the chime, but before the grey Apple logo.) Furthermore, if I reconnect the battery while the machine is up and running, it will shut off immediately. Plug the original bad battery into the computer again....

When plugged into power I get no response from the laptop (display, trackpad etc.) No matter what charger/cable I use the MacBook never shows response to power. Everything I have seen online recommend resetting the SMC or putting it into DFU mode and using apple config. I however could not do this because the MacBook shows no sign of life. It was working before with the click wheel that was a little wonky, but having replaced the click wheel with a new one, the previous problem disappeared only to be replaced by a different one with the menu button. If so remove it from the case and check if it now works OK. Very recently i have been charging my phone ( yes it says it’s charging and it even shows the light) and i leave it for over 20 minutes and the battery percentage only went down. Chosen Solution is says can use 5hrs but it only have 2 hrs Either the battery is dying, or the on battery computer has bad data. Sometimes in BIOS there is a battery recalibrate function. There “might” be a utility to reset the battery data as well. But that’s only if the battery data is wrong.

Chosen Solution I recently went to power on my tablet (it only turns on half the time and when it does) it gives me an all black screen with some words in the corner saying “no bootable devices found" and “run a diagnostic check". I ran the check and nothing was wrong aside from something with the harddrive, yet it still said everything was fine when the test was complete. It was working just fine a few days ago....
