Chosen Solution The rubber on the scroll wheel is somewhat loosen up on my Logitech Performance MX. This renders the wheel to operate without the frictionless scrolling. How to tighten or replace this rubber Exceedingly common problem that happens very quickly with this mouse. The rubber loosens, and the slack gets caught in the gearing. Just cutting it off seems to be the only solution, though with some trial and error you might find a rubber o-ring that fits it....

Chosen Solution How do I move my pictures from my Olympus tough camera to my computer using the wi-fi capability? I don’t believe this camera supports wifi connectivity. It should have come with a usb cable for transferring photos from the memory card to the computer. That is supported by information on page 54 of this document… https://www.olympusamerica.com/files/oim… Of course you can always remove the memory card and read it on the computer directly with a compatible memory card reader....

Chosen Solution My mower died while I was mowing then wouldn’t start it only clicks. I’ve checked the battery, it’s fully charged. I would be more inclined to think it was a starter problem except it started just fine only minutes before. I’m not sure where to go from here. I would appreciate any help. Thank you If you are sure the battery is full, turn the key, get the click, hold the key longer and give the starter a rap with a hammer or something able to do damage, without actually doing damage, if it starts, rebuild or replace the starter, if not come back for further electrical diagnosis, such as a bad connection, a relay went bad, the starter cannot be wacked into submission, etc....

Chosen Solution hi my 1987 ford f150 is not currently running because i haft to hold down the key to keep the the starter running to keep the moter running ive tried replacing the coil,alternator, soloniod, ignition switch and actuator , and also the battery if anyone can give me an answer plz let me know You have two sources of power to the coil. One is when the engine is cranking and the other is when the key is in the run position....

Chosen Solution when i press the start button in the laptop it takes much time to open (more than 2 minutes) then it shuts down by its own i don’t press any button When you write “time to open” I assume you mean the system boots up and loads your OS, but suddenly it shuts down. Is it correct? If so, check you system fan, because the problem seems to be caused by an overheating and the laptop shuts down to prevent damages....

Chosen Solution Hi, I had a laptop on which I had stored some very important document. The laptop’s HDD failed and I cannot access the files no more. The HDD is Fujitsu FKL-MHZ2320BH G2. I have a SATA reader to USB cable. I have tested the cable with another internal Laptop HDD and it works fine. But when I try to plug in that failed HDD, my Linux machine doesn’t even detect it....

You can just attach an external monitor to test the display. If an image displays on the external monitor, there might be a graphics driver conflict with the notebook LCD display....

Chosen Solution Zipper does not easily engage anymore & start zipping up, teeth all appear fine & the bottom is not excessively worn or frayed Put a single drop of fine oil, like sewing machine oil on the zipper and open up and close the jacket a few times. Should become much more usable! You might try chapstick on the zipper this is similar to a product that was out eons ago that our grandparents used to use I don’t find it for sale anywhere but it is very similar to chapstick hope that helps

Chosen Solution I have tried recovery mode but no response, phone starts and ends in Brand name but doesn’t continue. It started after trying to upgrade OS Android 5.1 lollipop, i think OS had bugs. Hello Douglas How was your day / night? Have you tried a factory reset via the recovery? If this doesn’t work you will need to flash a stock rom.

Chosen Solution I plugged my phone to portable charger and it ran out of power and turned off so I plugged it in my phone charger for about 3 hours I tried to turn it on and it won’t turn on it’s completely dead and it never charged for those 3 hours You could try another charger but if that doesn’t work I wouldn’t spend the money to repair it unless you have data on the phone....

Chosen Solution My laptop [g6-2330ew, model was not listed] is not booting to Windows 10 Anniversary Update or later using EFI. It does boot with MBR. Chosen Solution So, after having a gaming session with friends, i powered down the laptop for the night and went to sleep. I went to class the next morning and i sat down and opened it up. I pressed power and the keyboard and fans go on, but nothing pops up on screen. My external keyboard lights up but not my external mouse which was weird. I plugged in an hdmi cord to check if it was just the screen but nothing pops up....

So I just recently did a complete tear down on an iPad Air 2 and put it back together on a new housing (the old one was completely bent) the screen was also broken but you where still able to use it. After I put all of the iPad Air 2 together on the new housing I hooked up the old screen to see if everything was working probably (altought of course I am going to put a new screen on it I just wanted to make sure everything was running smooth first) i plugged it in to the charger and what I got was a black screen and a tiny constants flekering light and finally a white screen with a black strip down the middle of it....

Chosen Solution Water damaged screen. The Phone works with other screens. With the water damaged screen the Phone is stuck in apple logo loop. Any takers? Ver common issue. First eliminate the battery by replacing a new battery. If that does not work u need to clean the board from any chips that may have damage using alcohol. There are tutorials on YouTube

Chosen Solution Is it possible to replace the 2017 3.5GHz i5 Logicboard with a 2020 Imac Logic board? Is the Housing and the screw holes the same? Apple has altered the cases quite a bit between the different series as you can see in this posting o the 21.5” models Are iMac cases compatible between 2013-2020?...

Chosen Solution Replaced battery. Reset phone. Discharged to zero multiple times over 2 months. Battery usage just states “battery uage will be available after a few minutes ” Hey there! iFixit employee here. I just tested several batteries in benches, and I haven’t seen any issues with showing usage. If you haven’t already, hold the power and home buttons to do a full reset, and see if that solves the issue....

Chosen Solution macbook a1278 2008 when i plug the battery the fans are automatically start to work very loud and computer dont power on when i press the power button what it could be? Without a known good logic board, RAM & drive with the proper OS to help isolate this would require a deep understanding on how to test the logic board. I think your best direction is finding someone with the deeper skills to help you....

I am using the correct tool to unscrew it, but when I try to unscrew it, it just spins in place. Chosen Solution I just replaced the logic board in my late 2011 a1278 Macbook Pro Unibody. It was diagnosed dead by apple so I thought I could replace it myself. So I put it in and it would not turn on. Just shows a dim green light on the charger. I bought the logic board for 250$ off Ebay from a good seller. The board doesn’t get warm at all even after charging for 4 hours so I don’t think it is getting power....
