Chosen Solution why would it slow down with power and smell like something’s burning? Hi @plane53 , Check that the cannister is empty and not clogged and that the filter is clean so that the motor will get good airflow through it. If it gets too hot it could automatically be turned off by a thermal cut off switch in the motor to prevent the motor from burning out. Wait until the motor has cooled down and then see if it works OK....

Chosen Solution My laptop has been running pretty slow for quite a few months but its brand new, so i decided i would try doing a restore to my last backup (which i created when i first got the laptop) in case i might have downloaded something that was causing this performance hit. i then realised my backup had disappeared so i did a reinstall of windows to factory settings, it did its normal windows install loop that took about 2-3 hours but then it just kept looping constantly turning itself on and off but keeps saying windows is installing at 64%, so i left it for another 3 hours thinking it was just taking longer than it should....

They also deleted a bunch of stuff to make space for the latest software upgraded and then did the upgrade to Monterey version 12.6. Chosen Solution My macbook pro had problems turning on after it built up some moisture during heavy rainfall. I cleaned the logic board with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry for 2 days. Now it turns on only after i keep the power button long pressed, and never on the first attempt. It boots up extremely slow (5 mins) and is slow throughout. The cpu is at 70% usage when idle....

It was presented for repair with a black screen, customer says it was dropped - no physical damage was observed to the display - it just didnt work at all - maybe a backlight but thats it. Chosen Solution My Macbook got wet but luckily I was able to clean most all of it and no liquid came in contact with the motherboard. After I put everything back in, my Macbook does not boot up anymore nor my trackpad does not click anymore too. My keyboard retaining clip for the ribbon cable broke and there is half of it left that is clamping the cable. EDIT* I was able to find the other half of the ribbon cable clip and successfully put it back in....

Chosen Solution I’ve got Sony with a power problem. After investigation I found it has an essential chip (IC5700) killed by a dummy battery. It can’t be replaced, so I have to do a whole main board swap. It’s (insanely) pricey, but possible. The problem is - many report that after a replacement camera may malfunction: EVF may stop working, AF problems, some functions get disabled. As it’s costly thing to do I’m very nervous - how to guarantee myself from such things?...

Chosen Solution memory card would work in camera Hi @downbythesea123 , The camera supports memory cards (SD card) up to 512GB (depending on sort of card) as shown in this list. Go to p.3 in the user manual to see how to insert the card and how to format the card. If you’re going to shoot movies with the camera then get a SD card Class 6 or higher. See image for location of class information on a SD card....
