Chosen Solution my screen is showing 1 pink and 1 green line in the middle but when I open a white page , lines get disappeared…..they are also showing in bios menu and in windows startup……pls help me solving the problem I also tried updating my intel vga graphic driver but the problem didn’t solved my laptop is lenovo ideapad 310 Neetu Gagneja that sounds like a display issue. Move the screen slowly back and forth and see if those lines change....

Chosen Solution I got a problem with my battery, it was not charging but i could use my laptop by using my charger. But now, my laptop is not turning on at all. when i press the swith on/off button, it lights on and my AC too After a few seconds, it stops. And also, when i press the on/off button, my screen stays off. plz help me with this, am not so experienced in computer and am not been able to work....

Chosen Solution Hi Ifixit, First time I’ve had to post about a computer problem I’ve been having. I was trying to clean my fan when I did something really dumb and used a metal tool to try to take the battery connector off the logic board. It slipped and I touched one of the soldered pin above it. There was a small orange spark, but that’s it. When plugged in, the green charging light comes on, but nothing on the laptop turns on....

The backlight stays on as it should and I can adjust the brightness too. I can repeat the issue as long as I either close and open the lid or hit a key on the keyboard. Chosen Solution I have a LG 65uj6300-ua busylor (2017), that about a week ago had two (2) blue spots mid top on left and bottom right, and now when I turn on the TV I have one (1) blue spot bottom right however the mid top blue spot has now dimmed the top half of the screen. I wondering if this is a bad backlight array, or a bad t-con….. or something else....

Chosen Solution I got the screen replaced in led as it was badly cracked. Everything was brand new until Out of nowhere it has lines all down the screen making the screen unusable. Its not cracked. Whats my problem and how much will it cost to be fixed?? @melissandarling this sounds like a bad LCD.I’d take it back to where you got it fixed (if it was recent) and have them replace it again....

Chosen Solution Hello, I was trying to replace my keyboard by replacing the whole upper part. Everything went well (removing everything) until the battery when I tried to remove the 3rd cell, some smoke came out. After assembling, I tried to see if my system was ok without connecting the battery and everything is fine. I also tried to turn on the computer with the battery connected, it still works. So I want to know if it’s still okay to connect the battery...

Chosen Solution screen locked up Hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button together for around 12 seconds. This should reset it. Does it still connect to your computer? If so, restore the settings on it. If not, let the battery drain completely and then connect it to your computer. How do i jailbreak past the apple id

Chosen Solution MacBook is not powering on or off with the powerbutton. Tried other keyboard without succes. The strange thing is, when i disconnect en reconnect the battery and connect the MagSafe with charger the MacBook turns automatically on. What could be the problem? Chosen Solution Hi I left the Mac on sleep when I went to work and when I came back I couldn’t turn it on. There was plenty of battery when I left but it’s not turning on. There was no liquid or physical damage to the laptop. When I plug the charger on, the green/orange indicator doesn’t turn turn on. This happened once before and I left the Mac plugged in, when I came back I could see it’s charging and all was back to normal....

Chosen Solution Hi, I bought a new battery for my 17¨ MacBook Pro A1229 (Bought Dec. 2007). I followed instructions that came with the battery: First time use: Let the battery run down to 2% before charging and then charged the battery fully to 100%. I then proceeded to use my MacBook. At 50% battery charge left, it suddenly shut down completely. I then tried to reload the battery fully to 100% once more, then left the MacBook with it’s charger plugged in for 2 hours....

Chosen Solution My 2016 Macbook Pro turned the screen black after restarting and closing without shutting down the computer. Caps Lock has the green light and if I connect to a second monitor I can see the mouse, though everything else still black. No fan nor hard drive noise. I have a problem with a temperature sensor (i don’t remember which one, for sure no battery neither ssd), diagnosed by an Official Apple Center, which causes an automatically shout down of the computer and the solution is change the logic board for 700€. Chosen Solution My metallic connectors inside key fob not attached to silicone button pad & have become detached - so the whole fob is no longer working. What is the best adhesive to try and re-attach the metal connectors to inhibit them from wondering around causing a mess? as a locksmith, we see this problem often. we clean the board with alcohol pads after removing the battery. remove all discs from the back of the silicone pad....

Chosen Solution I have 2 gba sp having the same issue, it is not charger, or battery related, neither fuse F2. Dunno where to go to, to find out how to repair it. Symptom : short red/orange light flash when pluggin it on the charger. Then when controlling the battery port, no power at all or almost nothing 0.0…. I have been changing battery, charger, and swapping with other gba sp that run ok as expected....

Chosen Solution it would be great to see the motherboard differences between the true dual-SIM version available in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau versus the international eSIM+nano-SIM version. Same board layout, likely different SIM reader. China version has actual dual layer SIM reader while the world version has a SIM reader with the same dimensions, but with one side blocked. China version should have NOSTUFF on the eSIM chip location SIM tray part should be different as well....

Chosen Solution Suddenly, my laptop’s battery doesn’t charge. It works if I turn it on with the cable connected to the electricity, but it says in Windows “Connected but not charging”, and the battery doesn’t charge. How can I fix it? @pedrofive you need to tell us which laptop model this is. Also, check your settings to make sure that nothing is preventing the battery from charging. since your computer “knows” your battery is connected but not charging, I’d start by replacing the battery....
