Chosen Solution Lately the pins of my MacBook Pro MagSafe 2 magnetic connector were worn out. The mid pin was jammed. The battery was not charging anymore. So I’ ve ordered a new MagSafe 2 replacement cable. I was still able to run the computer as the charger was pluged to the wall(green light on). After a week the battery got completely discharged. I get the replacement cable few days later....

Chosen Solution Just prior to my changing the battery, my MacBook would not power on. I thought it was because the battery may have gone bad. So I changed the battery, 1 of the 2 RAM chips, the LH fan, RH speaker and DVD player (which was too big for the case). Hooked up power cable, turned it on and no power still. Let the new battery charge overnight, pushed and held the power button the next morning and still no power....
Chosen Solution So almost 3 years ago, a friend gave me one of these to get some files off of it. They gave me a power adapter as I don’t usually work on macs, but it was in kind of poor shape. I plugged it in, and it didn’t power on. (I can’t remember the lights it gave me then, I was clueless about macs at that point lol.) I assumed the logic board was dead, and pulled the HDD and RAM and gave the friend her data back, and she let me keep the machine....

Chosen Solution 1999, dodge ram 2500 horn started blowing while sitting in my driveway. Starting the truck and hitting the horn switch on the steering wheel had no effect. Horn finally went off by itself. I was unable to make a positive ID on the horn location, but I think it is located, facing the truck, on the left side under the Battery. Chosen Solution My laptop brightness not changing by function key. Actually key is working but brightness adjustment not work by that More than likely there’s a function key or a function lock which is on or stuck. Check in the lower left hand part of the keyboard for an fn key. Press and hold that and see if you can get the brightness to work. If yes, then function lock is probably enabled (some models have a light on this FN key to indicate this, but I don’t recall if this is one of them)....

Chosen Solution I have had this iPhone 5 since 2012. Dropped it a few times, but nothing major happened except for the lock button busted. Recently, my iPhone just keeps on shutting off and turning on all by itself. Or sometimes lines will appear slowly and then it’ll shut down. But I’ve noticed that if I’m charging the phone, it doesn’t really crash as much. Still does though. I got a new phone, and it still turned on by itself randomly....
Chosen Solution I have a Kindle 10 with a damaged USB port, and the PC board traces are damaged as well. I can catch a piece of the power connections, but the data connections (pins 2 and 3 I believe) are a mystery. Do the pins correspond to any of the TP’s on the pc board? I tried a continuity test from the serial connections to the connector on a different generation unit, but it does not look like that’s it....
Chosen Solution I replaced my MBP battery with an iFixit battery about a year ago and it worked great until recently it started draining very very quickly. I tried calibrating it following iFixit’s calibration guide but it didn’t help. (Might be worth trying calibration again.) Are there other issues that can contribute to this? I also noticed in recent months that the fan was running much more than before. I downloaded Intel Power Gadget and have observed that the CPU is often running much hotter than recommended, into the 80s and even 90s....
Chosen Solution Hi, my lg wd80130f does not spin fast after completing its wash cycle hence leaving clothes wet, sometimes it works if i unplug amd start the whole washing cycle again. When it doesn’t spin after cycle, i can hear noise like relay is switching and light sound of motor who is trying to spin, but it can’t. From few days i let it complete its cycle and then i will go into its QC test mode and spin it from there....

This usually means an electrical system problem; dead/discharged battery, broken/loose drive belt or belt tensioner, alternator fault or blown fusible link wire to the alternator or blown fuse in the engine fuse box. Chosen Solution A few months ago I replaced my late 2011 logic board with a mid-2012 one because my logic board died . I removed the old heatsink from the 2011 board and put it on the new board. Everything fit perfectly and I put it all back together. I am reading from other similar issues that this could be a heatsink issue. Could someone elaborate on what the actual problem might be with the heatsink or if it could be an issue with my application of the paste?...
