Chosen Solution Hi. I recently changed the DC in Board on my MacBook Pro 13” Late 2011, trying to fix the “dim light / no charge” issue. Replacing it did not solve my problem. However, I did notice my Logic Board very dirty with dust, which prevented me to do a more “in depth” inspection. I know I should use Isopropyl Alchohol 99%, but due to Covid-19 it has been a near impossible task for me to get a hold of a bottle....
Chosen Solution I discarded the old battery from the MacBook as it was swollen. Installed an iFixIt battery, as I’ve done with other MacBooks, but it will not power on. I’ve checked, double checked, and rechecked my steps, but still no dice. The MacBook will power on and everything works when plugged in, although the fan spins at max speed, indicating no battery is recognized. When the MacBook isn’t plugged in and I attempt to power it on, nothing happens....

Chosen Solution I have multiple problems on my MacBook Pro 15" A1226. First, the display backlight does not work, however, an external monitor does work. I tried replacing the LED Driver board (bought from iFixit), but the display backlight still does not work. I have not tried replacing the inverter cable since that is unavailable from iFixit (any suggestions for other reputable places to get said cable ?) Not sure what else to try for this display backlight problem....

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2009 MBP and it has the 4hr battery in it… does the new MBP 15" Early 2010 battery’s fit into this model? Chosen Solution So I just replaced the battery on my iPhone 5s, and it just keeps freezing after some minutes that I have to force reboot it, but it’ll just freeze again after some time. Chosen Solution My charger no longer works. The little part that goes into my tablet is loose. @littlered you did not tell us if you are refering to the part on the adapter or the one on the tablet. If it is the connector on the charger, repalce the charger. If it is the jack on the tablet, you will have to disassemble the tablet. The port is solder to the lgic board, so you will have to solder to take it off and try to source a replacement
Chosen Solution I bought a Kenmore stackable washer/dryer second hand. The timer did not work on the dryer and other than that the unit worked fine. The dryer started getting really hot when on and then all of a sudden does not heat up anymore. The dryer barrel still turns and there is just no heat. Chosen Solution my hdmi port needs to be fixed there is a rod bent can you fix it ? If you are referencing the pins on the inside of the connector, then no. It can be replaced however. This is best done by someone with experience and should not be attempted otherwise. The connector itself costs less than $10. This is a simple repair for an experienced service provider and should take about an hour if the part is in stock....

Chosen Solution When I push in the L3 button on my ps4 controller, it engages, but will short out after a random amount of time. So I then have to un press and then push down the left stick again to get the button to engage. Is this a common issue? Chosen Solution Laptop shuts down after 20mins. Is there anything else to do to try and fix this issue besides replacing the fan? Before you replace a fan, you should be sure the problem is related to that. Check and log the temps with smt like cputemp, update your bios, check for bad connections between battery and mobo, dc jack and mobo, etc. Did you clean the radiator when you replaced the fan?...
Chosen Solution I have the Dell Adamo laptop. My Adapter broke and I fixed it and it worked for a while but then broke again. When I repaired the adapter I think I crossed the wires and when I plugged it back into the laptop I think it damaged something because now the computer will not power on. I brought a brand new adapter but it still will not power on when the battery is disconnected....
Chosen Solution I just finished replacing the front panel on my wife’s iPhone 3GS. The touch digitizer works flawlessly, but the LCD is not performing as it did prior to replacing the front panel. This is the same LCD that was in the phone prior to replacing the front panel. When the LCD starts to display, the picture looks fine, but gradually, the color fades and the image looks “shaky.” Faint horizontal lines appear in the image....

The “snowflake” light indicates that the rinse aid needs to be refilled, although the user manual doesn’t specify whether it is blinking or is on steady when there is no rinse aid left. It is not mentioned as an error indicator in the service manual as the error codes are displayed on the screen Here’s a link that shows how to run diagnostic tests (use LDS5040, LDS4921 series test method) that may help to show what is wrong with the machine if replenishing the rinse aid doesn’t solve the problem
Chosen Solution Big dumb mistake. Changed my admin password to a lengthy auto generated password. Took a screen shot with intentions of writing it down. Got distracted, laptop snoozed and locked. No appleid on this laptop. I can access the guest account. But that’s all. Tried all of the Apple support suggestions, none work. Everything I try ends up at the screen to select the user account and login. I have accepted that I have probably lost my locally stored data....
Chosen Solution Hello, I will try to make a long story short. I had to reformat my internal SSD and re-install High Sierra. After doing so i get a message telling to update (I think it was iTunes) so I did. But, when the Mac restarted it hanged before choosing the user. No way to pass that point. So I restart the Mac with command R, check the SSD with Disk Utility and reformat the SSD and re-installed High Sierra, but when it restarted same thing happen....
