Chosen Solution I have an LG 43UK6400. After a long vacation away, I returned home and turned on the TV. The TV worked fine for a couple of minutes and then the image disappeared. The sound works fine, and the backlight is lit. The remote also navigates the menu. Chosen Solution Working on a MacBook Pro mid-2013, 13” A1278. Just ordered a logic board replacement and installed. Upgraded RAM to 16 GB. Worked fine momentarily except DC-in board was causing dim light, no battery charge. Fine. Replace DC-in board. Dim light fixed, holding charge. Good. Chosen Solution So I used the dosdude1 patcher on my MacBook to get Catalina running on it but I was experiencing some issues (not logging in, infinite loading while logging in), recovery mode doesn’t work (tried cmd + r, cmd + option + r, etc) tried removing ram and disconnecting battery and HDD, won’t show boot options when you hold option at start up. What can i do and is it worth to repair it? @goncalot3 not exactly sure what you mean by “motherboard does’t manage the power” If you are saying it does not charge you should at first test things like the charger itself, the cable you are suing and check your charging port. If that is okay then you want to do a deep dive into the board situation....
