Chosen Solution Hello, I had my logic board changed under Apple’s extended repair program in 2015 when it was still relevant for 17 inch MacBooks. 2 years later, during autumn 2017 my (replaced) logic board stopped working again. Not being covered by warranty or any repair program anymore, I had to resort to baking my logic board and hoping for the best according to this guide. Fortunately, it helped and I was happy I had saved some 200 bucks on new logic board....

Chosen Solution Goodmorning to everyone! I have an Early 2017 13” MacBook Air and my LCD is damaged (black corner). Since replacing the entire LCD and shell assembly is quite expensive, is it possible to replace the LCD only? (It costs a third!) And if so, is there a guide to do so? It randomly (as in not always but more often than not) left clicks in addition to the normal keyboard input so hitting say Backspace gives me a 90% chance i get the Backspace input + a left click out of the single button press....

Chosen Solution Hi Macbook White a1181 2GHz Core 2 Duo mid 2007. All keyboard keys are working fine -both uppercase and lowercase- except when I try to write the capital “T”. If I press “shift + T” keys, don’t write anything. The only way to write a capital “T” is by pressing the Caps Lock key + “T” key. (the “t” lower-case letter is working fine) All the other keys and functions on the keyboard are working fine....

Chosen Solution When I click on links now, instead of working as usual, I get a drop down menu with options to “open in another window” and related options. I have to click several times for the link to work. This just started happening - I reset with a fresh install of Windows 10 but still have the problem. The new install went correctly and everything else is working. That’s a right click menu....

Chosen Solution The screen of my iPod (5th Gen 80GB late 2006 model) is frozen. The lock sign is permanently displayed even though the ‘HOLD’ switch is off. I have tried to reboot, but the wheel does not respond. I even did a restore but even that didnt work. Can someone help, please? @jsr68 ,ake sure that the slider is properly mated to the switch. If it is, replace the headphone jack/ hold switch....

Chosen Solution When I try to open mail it just goes on and off and won’t bring up the mail. Make sure you’re running the latest version of iOS, you can check by going to Settings>General>Software Update and doing an update if needed. If the iOS update didn’t fix it, or if you’re already running the latest iOS you could try doing a DFU restore. This will cause you to lose all information on the phone so doing a backup prior to the restore is strongly recommended....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have a iPhone 7 plus that has a muffled quiet bottom speaker. The earpiece speaker works fine but with the bottom speaker so bad the audio sounds very tinny. I have replaced the bottom speaker with a new one but its still exactly the same as how the old one sounded. Any idea on what I should try next, I’m fine replacing any part just don’t want to do things that are not needed again....

Chosen Solution Okay. so today my replacement battery came in (yes)! It was definitely in need of a battery considering how the battery showed signs of swelling when I took it out. With that said, I have a new issue: the display. My phone’s screen will no longer turn on. I tried reseating the ribbon cable, to no effect. Has anyone else had this issue? I have had the same issue try unplug the battery then connect the display then plug the battery in , that worked for me even after I replaced the display with a new one , if it don’t work the 1st time try it again , then ribbon sometimes is not seated so good but always unplug the battery , then connect the display then the battery ....

Chosen Solution my Gateway NV53A makes a roaring noise non stop !! Hi, Does it start OK? Does it do this with just the desktop showing and no other programs opened? Have you ensured that there is no disc in the DVD drive trying to start up? Here is a link to the ifixit Gateway NV53A24u Repair guides. Follow the guides to isolate where the noise is coming from. Disconnect the charger (if connected) and remove the battery before removing and replacing any parts Remove the battery and then remove the Hard Drive, replace the battery and then start the laptop and see if the noise is still there....

Chosen Solution when I try to power my Samsung NoteII it always keep showing a blalnk screen and does not turn on. It may be a battery problem. Try to backup your phone, then go factory reset. It will clear up your phone and boot speed.

The keys you keyboard may not be working do something such as food or gunk stuck in the keys, you should check and see if this is the problem before trying anything else. I opened up the joycon to see if the spring was bent but it seems to be the circuit cable that the button is clicking. Chosen Solution So, my Acer Aspire R15 blue screened and shut down. Then it booted itself back up and said no bootable device. I hard shut it down by pressing and holding the power button, waited 60 seconds and turned it back on and again it said no bootable device. I shut it down again and unplugged the charger then started it again and it booted just fine. It’s up and running just fine....

Chosen Solution The red status light at the bottom of the screen is on, when I use the remote, or manual button on the TV to power on, the light will faded off (like it knows I am turning on, like normal) then the red light comes back on and the TV doesn’t turn on. This has happened before (about a year ago), but it magically started working again when I tried again later....
