Chosen Solution I’m trying to fix a family member’s 2015 MacBook Air, it’s having some strange problem where the trackpad tracks fine, but won’t register clicks (physical click or tap to click) and the UI doesn’t respond to the cursor hovering over elements like the dock or window buttons. It does this with the built in trackpad, and a USB mouse that I’ve tested in both USB ports. I’ve tried booting into safe mode and recovery mode, resetting the SMC and PRAM, and it still hasn’t fixed it....

Hi @swiny, First of all, I would start by checking cables, charger, supply, etc. If you have a USB meter (this is one example that does both USB-A and USB-C) you can measure what sort of current is being drawn when connected. Since those MacBooks use USB-C it’s very easy to use one of those meters....

What you have to do is the same as for any other submerged phone. First, you need to not try to charge, sync or otherwise use your phone. Chosen Solution I have Casio ex z850 display screen is black can see very very faint detail. Battery seems charged in that lens is going in and out when switched on and off and still takes photo . Chosen Solution Yesterday while using my laptop the screen suddenly distorted badly in what seemed like an odd crash. I turned it off, put it aside and let it be until today. When I try to turn it on, there is no picture or backlight. The keyboard lights up for ~4-5 seconds, the power button stays on for about 9, and the charging light slightly less than the power button. It continues this cycle seemingly indefinitely so far, unless I hold the power button to turn it fully off....

Chosen Solution The hinge has broken off from the palmrest and is not bending at all causing the bottom case to separate from the laptop when I try and shut the lid. The hinge is not broken. I cannot close the lid and the hinge is also moving the power port up and down. Please let me know what I can do to fix this. @avicenna it depends on how and where the hinges are broken off....

Chosen Solution Hi, while completely unphased by benchmarking tools, my Macbook Pro 2020 i7 shows a strange behaviour. When playing a not very graphic intense game (KSP) for Mac or Banished in Parallels/Windows the fan gets loud. After a while the games stop, it takes a few seconds before MacOS returns to the log in screen. I have to log in again. after logging in MacOS is trying to restore the previous state: -restarting open applications including the Game or the Virtual Machine CPU temperature is at 60 when idle and at 100 degrees Celsius during the logout event....

Chosen Solution have an older htc hero(sprint), and a LG chocolate that i threw into the electronics black hole (my desk drawer) a while ago. well now that i need my old contacts out of them i cant remember the dammmmmm unlocks .nothing shady i own these phones(and can prove it). any clues how i can bypass these while preserving all data in said phone or am i just S.O.L.???
