Chosen Solution Hi all, My wife’s Mac keeps going to sleep at random intervals its a MacBook5,1 Mac-F42D89C8 This can happen at any time including : Regardless of being plugged into the charger or running on battery If it’s writing a CD it will sometimes enter sleep mode When synchronising with an ipod - it will sometimes enter sleep mode I’ve even gone as far as using a spare hard-drive, formatting it and installing EL Capitan on it - after the install had finally finished - I had hoped that the sleep issue would disappear… Around 10 minutes later - it went into sleep mode again the only way to wake it would be from pressing the power button and waiting for a response....

Chosen Solution Since a few days my long-serving MBP 15" (Early 2011) won’t power up. It was running and it was put to sleep by closing the lid. After that (about an hour later) it didn’t come back to life.The MagSafe adapter lights green, not orange as it should when the battery is charging.The battery indicator on the side of the device shows 6 (out of 8) green LEDs when MagSafe is connected....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have a 2013 Macbook Pro 15. 10 seconds into the bootup the fans go full throttle, the MacBook is slow to boot, and once it does manage to boot the CPU is > 100% at all times. Ran AHT, it reported – 4SNS/1/40000000 TsOP—124Bought a new trackpad with cable, replaced. No change, same issue.Removed the logic board, cleaned everything and reinstalled. No change, same issue. Any suggestions / help would be deeply appreciated....

Chosen Solution I have two LG Stylo 2 phones both power up. One I can see the screen but the touch does not work and the other I cannot see the screen but the touch is responsive. my question is can I swap out the digitizer and make one working phone? @crystaldry85 the LCD and the digitizer are fused (glued) together. Unless you have the right equipment to separate the display assembly and then have the experience and right equipment to adhere them back together, it may be better to replace the complete assembly....

Chosen Solution Oh god am so stressed ..my smart phone Micromax canvas doodle 2 which is just 25 days old (bought it 25 days back) was working just fine then i look away for a minute and it did not start at all,cant charge,nothing!even the light that indicates its charging is not seen ..am pretty sure its not the battery because a moment before i plugged off the charger coz battery was full....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, My iP6 has a weird problem. Its microphone is not working in speaker phone mode, facetime, video call but it works fine on Siri, voice recording and video recording. Chosen Solution I help out at the school computer lab and we have about 70 chrome books. I would say at least ten of them are suffering from this problem. To describe the problem in further detail when you click the left or the right button on the track pad the buttons dont pop back up and there is no click it just sags down when you click it and sags back up once you have let go...

I replaced the hard drive in my EMC2211 (iMac 24” early 2008 3.06ghz) in 2017 with a Seagate BarraCuda 4TB SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache 3.5-Inch. Its running fine but want to go to a newer operating system — I’m suck on El Capitan. I’m considering purchasing a 2016 or 2017 21.5 or 27” iMac with a small capacity HDD and then just replace the this machine’s HDD with the one out of my EMC2211....

Chosen Solution Replaced the screen on the 6s Plus and now the mute switch isn’t working. Both of the other volume buttons are working though. I’m sure it had been working earlier, can’t guarantee. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Give the switch a clean with a tooth brush, they are prone to getting crapped up. Changing a screen should not affect the mute switch.

Chosen Solution Moments after turning on my Sony Bravia the green “on” light changed to a flashing red “standby” light. The # of flashes is 4 between each 2 second pause. I saw one possible reference which stated a bulb needs to be replaced. Please advise if this is a correct diagnosis. Thanks! @capjohn not sure which model your Bravia is but a 4 blink code means either the backlight inverter board is bad or one of the backlights in the LCD panel has failed....

Chosen Solution Go to your TV settings and turn on the HDMI port. Also older models may not be HDCP compliant, like the Element TV (circa 2010?). In that case you’ll need an HDMI splitter like View HD VHD-1x2MN3D. It will strip the HDCP copyright coding from the stream allowing it to show on that TV.

Chosen Solution I have a Dyson DC50 that won’t lock and stand upright, which needs to happen for the tools to work. Vacuum works fine otherwise. Chosen Solution So far, I know the drive doesn’t fully work, won’t take the disk inside. It tries also to eject, but that only works if the disk is sticking somewhat out already. Any ideas maybe with rubbing alcohol before I rip this apart? I still love my dog, but %#*@. daverelax, Stop charging or powering up your Xbox One S until the liquid damage is addressed correctly, as you could be shorting out components inside the Xbox....

Chosen Solution So today I was eating cereal and texting my friend. ( dumb decision) I dropped my phone into my bowl of cereal. I freaked out and dryed it off as fast as i could. Then placed it into rice. I waited a couple hours to check on it. It turned on and I can control it i texted my friend about what happend and i got her messages and she got mine....
