I looked everywhere but the ifixit guide doesnt contain an answer and no youtube video ever treated this topix. Chosen Solution My GPS does not turn on at all, either battery source or wall plug in any more. Model GARMIN NUVI 785T. With power cable attached, try holding the power button for 10-20 seconds until the Garmin resets. Mine will fail to turn on or lock up sometimes and this reset procedure will bring it back.

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on a customers phone and the phone won’t turn on. When I plug it in, it vibrates and makes a noise, but the ringer switch won’t work and a force restart does nothing. The home button also doesn’t respond with a click. What do is do? Laptop doesnt turn on if only battery just inserted. instant switches off if removing ac while battery is inserted laptop outputs power battery outputs power as well cant find where is the problem.. The battery on your laptop is probably long dead. You can pick up a replacement battery from online resellers for around $45-100 if you’d like....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 8 is not charging. I noticed that the outer housing of the lightning port has bent. I have got the lightning port inside replaced , but the phone still doesn’t charge. You’ll need to either replace or rework the housing in order to get that working again, I imagine the cable isn’t connecting with the pins inside. You can just use a wireless charger though…

Chosen Solution Hi, My 2017 Macbook Pro Retina function keys doesn’t go to sleep when I close the lid. I can see the screen stays on even when it’s lid is closed. I’ve reset SMC and PVRAM and those didn’t work. Any suggestions? Let’s check the hall sensor. You’ll need a small rare earth magnet and a steel paper clip. Use the paper clip to locate the magnet in the lid carefully slide it along the face of the display just a little up from where the Thunderbolt ports are....
