Chosen Solution It only works when i twist the cord. I disassembled the left ear but there are no loose wires. Sounds like the wire is broken inside the cable and thus you have a loose contact. There are really only two options to fix this: find the approximate location of the broken wire, cut it out and mend the resulting two ends together replace the whole cable altogether

Chosen Solution So for quite a few months I get intermittent issues with my mouse performing a random key press/command upon the mouse waking up. Chosen Solution Light on mag power adapter is dim, you can hardly tell it’s on. It was plugged in and working but when I went back to it it was off and won’t power back on. There isn’t any sound. Chosen Solution Hi I own a MS8229 multimeter for a few years now. It works fairly well except the one (super annoying) thing it does is it beeps whenever it is turned to a current/voltage/resistance measurement. It doesn’t matter if the probes are plugged in or not. The beep differs (deeper beep) if the probes aren’t plugged in but then it’s a high pitched beep when they are removed. The beep goes away if I change it measure lux/audio, etc… So wondering how/if this can be debugged....

Als not with putting the firmware back via the “rescue and smart assistant tool” connected on my PC. I seems like a hardware problem and that I need to replace the fingerprint scanner. Your imac might be overheating that may be why the fans are louder. Higher temperature readings will speed up the fans. Remove all dust from vents and heat sink especially under the heat sink cover I always use a shop vac to vacuum the dust just be careful with the fans....
