Iff the screen is the issue, iTunes will will let you know with a message that there is a device connected. Keep it charging for about half an hour to make sure that the battery wasn’t depleted as well. Nothing happens after half an hour? To determine if the inverter went out, get a flashlight and shine it on the screen (with the laptop on) and see if you can see things, if you cant then your LCD may be bad. To check the LCD, connect your laptop to another monitor or tv, if the screen pops up and displays fine, then there is a problem with the LCD....
Chosen Solution My PC will not boot into BIOS at all. I did a CMOS reset. I went to Advanced Settings to UEFI. I have tried everything. Tried booting without HDD’s, nothing. I don’t know if its a CPU issue or a Motherboard issue or even a Monitor issue. I cant get into my BIOS at all. I personally don’t think my PC is skipping the BIOS but it’s just not coming up on my display because as soon as I boot I see a brief “input not supported” message appear on my monitor it then goes away and I boot into windows like normal....

If you change the home button, the fingerprint scanner will no longer work. I am not sure what kit you are talking about, but if it does come with the home button, use the one from the old screen....
