Chosen Solution It’s really weird, the phone works perfectly, connects to WiFi and runs as well as it can. The only issue is, when I insert the SIM card, it instantly comes up with an icon showing that it can’t find a network. When going into the SIM settings, it clearly can recognize that it’s an AT&T SIM card, but it can’t find the network. This SIM card works on my iPhone and my Android....
Chosen Solution Can some one tell me what IC I might have to replace I have already done a pram and smc reset I tried other magsafe chargers and even replaced the magsafe board so I assume a component on the logicboard has died. I have a parts board that I can take components from. I know this is a long shot but have you tried a different wall socket?
Chosen Solution it doesn’t charges on any screen except home screen and not even when it it switched off and battery life is very low sounds like maybe a software issue? try backing up your data, photos and such, and reset phone to factory/update phone software/both. may help.
Chosen Solution My phone was acting strangely and would not power down so I took out the battery. Now the operating system will not load. I can get to the boot screen and have done a factory reset but it will still not work. Any suggestions? how you done the factory reset by the way, might be the OS data corrupt or bad memory module. you can try flash with new rom
Chosen Solution Older but lightly used, works fine but the 1st three LED’s (of a group of four) on the front panel come on & stay on and they are dim (roughly half brightness). I removed control and checked switch functions with multimeter all contained in ribbon cable and only accessible at one end (connector to board). All close and open properly. Not sure how to look for sneak circuit causing dim illumination and/or if anyone knows if I could gently peel-off control to investigate other end of ribbon (at switches)....
Chosen Solution My lenovo g50-30 Laptop just died on me while using it, i opened it to check the cmos battery since the battery used to be faulty back then and to my surprise it was completely empty so right now its not showing any signs of life just the indicator lights so does this mean my laptop cannot boot without cmos battery ? It should be able to boot to your ‘bios’ screen then, dependent on it’s age and whether it still store’s data old style or UEFI, you may need to set all your bios settings every time it loses power (until you replace that battery)....

When I tried removing the lcd cable the gold pins that are connected to the system board have broke off as it was difficult to remove because of all the glue. Is there a way to fix it? Chosen Solution Dropped my Rift. Opened it. Found out left screen splintered(in the upper right edge). .Everyhing else intact-probably useful for swapping? Now I am looking for a left screen. I dont think there’s much you can do unless you find a broken one online without a broken left screen and transplant parts to make one good one. Is this reversable because the UV seems to help a little but not alot That’s the backlight. Remove the backlight clean the lcd and replace the backlight (resolder)
