Chosen Solution Right after I power the camera on the lens pops out for a second and then retracts back into the camera and the screen displays “Lens error !” Is there a fix for this? When the camera turns on it attempts a “reset” to make sure that it is in a known state. The lens error message indicates that the lens reset has failed. Usually this means that the lens has not completed the extension and retraction in the correct amount of time, or it couldn’t extend to its final outbound position....

Chosen Solution So this evening, my favourite Onhub router of 2 years stopped working. Thinking it to be a problem of adapter , I looked for another adapter to try and in a haste I plugged in laptop’s adapter in the router . Heard the kink sound followed by burning smell , that was the moment I knew I have done a blunder. (Later found that the MCB had dropped for those switches that’s why the onhub adapter didn’t work, laptop was kept in a different area , the switches for which weren’t connected to that particular MCB) My question - Is it any way possible to get my onhub back to working again or should I just forget about it?...

Chosen Solution My SSD is not detected. It is an onboard 256GB SSD. I need to get stuff off of it but since it is onboard I can’t put it in an external enclosure and boot from it. Does anyone know how to fix the issue, or is there something that can be done to boot from the drive by either removing it from the logic board, or something? I know it is a long shot, but I really would like to know....

Chosen Solution I have just replaced the battery using a kit from iFixit, because it had been routinely powering down with more than 50% battery. I have just tried to start it for the first time since the replacement, and it makes the startup chime but the screen stays black and it does not turn on. The fans seem to come on very briefly when it chimes. The light on my MagSafe was initially amber but turned green after only a few minutes, as though the battery was fully charged....

Chosen Solution OK, so basically I had just reset the MacBook pro I was using a dodgy charger with some rips but overall it worked fine at an angle, it was on the final boot after I reset it and it suddenly shut off. I think I clicked the tracpad 3 times and then it shut off? Could be related or not I don’t know. But, basically now you can feel the force touch tracpad working but it stays completely dead....

Chosen Solution Hi, so I’ve recently had my MacBook to Apple as it was failing to boot. They informed me the hard drive was on its last legs. I went home and ordered a new SSD and whilst I was at it, I ordered 2x8gb ram (DDR3L-1333) from crucial. After restoring everything on my MacBook, it seemed to work really well for a few days running multiple programs etc. But now it’s crashing/freezing regularly then rebooting and getting quite hot....

After starting I can safely disconnect the charger and the battery takes over but I can not start from battery alone. Already tried a different battery. Chosen Solution My Mini (Late 2012 - 2.3 I7/Dual 1TB server version) is constantly hot. I have had graphics issues when it gets hot but it will also get very slow. Any suggestions on what could be the issue? I think you’ll need to do a bit more diagnosing here. How about running this app: TG Pro it will allow you to see what the built-in thermal sensors temps are as well as tell you if the systems fan cooling effectively or not....

Within two days, I got my mobile serviced and the service team said that only the display was repaired and we got it done. Now, when I open new apps, or sometimes even gallery, the mobile turns off randomly… So guys, What do you think is the problem? And, please help with the solution to this problem....

Chosen Solution My iPod I got does some weird stuff, firstly it dies at 75%, doesn’t shuffle when you select shuffle songs, and dies immediately if you change albums but last around an hour if you don’t. The problem seems battery related. Have you replaced the battery on the iPod? I have had a couple 5Gs with defective batteries that had similar behavior.

Chosen Solution I started my mower and as soon as it gets hot just shuts down and makes some explosions. Then I try to start it again and doesn’t want to run anymore, you just can hear the bbbbrrrrr sound…!! If it sounds like it is starving out before it quits, check the vent on the gas cap. If it is restarting within 5 minutes, that gives it time for the vacuum in the gas tank to equalize to ambient air pressure and allow the gas to flow again....

Chosen Solution Does anyone know how to fix the LG V20 that can’t pickup any GPS signals? I tried to tighten all of the screws in the back plate, clean the contact terminal (even pushed it up a little bit) and the antenna terminal. In addition, I have tried the Aluminum trick by adding a layer of Aluminum between the antenna’s terminal and the phone’s contact terminal. None of these tricks fixed the issue....
