I would suggest that you get a Live CD of something like Puppy Linux and either use a CD or a USB stick and set your Computers BIOS to boot from whatever media you choose....
Chosen Solution With clothes in the front-loader on Delicate setting, machine stopped before the Spin cycle. I pressed start, got error message PF then all to black again. Tried many things, including the ‘unplug replug, open close door 6 times’ reset routine, and occasionally got to being able to see lighted dial and turn it either way before again PF then all to black. Once even momentarily had the pause screen for the 30 minute Quick program, but it went to PF then black before I could hit start....

I have tried to adjust the thing that plugs in, it was working like that for a little bit the I can’t get sound on head phones any more. It’s the plug in at top of cell phone. Chosen Solution So I have an Early 2015 13” MacBook Air. I had to unplug the battery and plug in the charger to get it to boot. Prior to this, the MagSafe charger would show the Amber light and change to Green when pressing the power button before reverting back to Amber a few seconds after. Now after I got it booted, I shut it down, plugged the battery back in and booted it back up with the charger plugged in....
