I have apple care but apple doesnt want to fulfill a replacement for free either because I have more than 1000 cycles on my battery(something I wasnt explained when I was buying apple pay). Chosen Solution Hi Guys, First time on iFixit. I own a Mid-2014 Macbook Pro Retina A1392 and been using it for the last five years with absolutely zero issues until recently. Around a month ago I noticed the DC Port had the two middle points burnt which I guess is because of poor contact, upon further inspection I noticed there was a pin stuck in the port. Removed that, replaced the MagSafe charger because the pins were burn and I wiped the DC port as much as I could and the new charger worked flawlessly for a month....

Replacement panels are often more expensive (if they can even be found) then a new TV. To find a proper replacement you need to go by the panel bumbner not the TV’s model number. Open up your TV. You’ll find a white sticker on the back of the LCD....
Chosen Solution I ATTEMPTED to replace my cracked screen, glass only, and thought I did a terrific job! Until I put back the cables and turned it on. Crap. There are thick and thin vertical lines, blue, green, red…. and random black splotches, that looks as if I spilled ink on my screen, I really do not want to spend $120 getting it fixed,my dad wouldn’t like spending so much on my phone....
Chosen Solution My Samsung Galaxy tab a 10.1 (sm-t580) has a black screen but the LCD is lit up along with the back lights, it happens after I went though TSA and hasn’t worked since. I don’t want to lose all my data so doing a factory reset is not a option. I did some research to see if it was possible that any X-Rays could damage your electronics going through TSA, but even in my own experience if they were known to cause damage to your phone or tablet I am very sure TSA or others would tell us....

Chosen Solution Hi I did some repairs on my i4 the other day and when I removed the battery, the battery terminal lifted up from the board (although it still looks attached to the 4 solder points) The battery was also faulty so I have removed it, Now when I try to power the phone from mains it turns on properly and shows the ‘Connect to iTunes’ screen, however when powering through USB the apple logo comes on for a few seconds before restarting and looping....
Chosen Solution I recently changed my water filter in my whirlpool french door refrigerator, as I have done several times before. This time when I inserted the new filter, the water just trickles from the dispenser. I removed the filter and water pressure is fine. I thought it could be a bad filter so I tried a different filter. Same result. It has never done this before until this time. Tried purging the air but it doesn’t spit & sputter, just trickles....
Chosen Solution Tried everything. Macbook air was working fine. Just updated to El Capitan then it wouldn’t go to sleep (i.e. fan was on high even with the lid closed). I opened it back up, pressed the power button for afew seconds then got a message on a white screen that said “Device Restarted because of a problem…” Tried restarting again, and have been getting a plain white screen with no logo....

Chosen Solution This is super weird…thought it was a bad power supply so bought a new one, after install didnt work so found some strange symptoms here: Mid 2011 iMac, when the LCD display is removed from case, it will boot (makes chime and fans go on, etc). But on a serious note, since it looks like this is a newer Apple product, supply is likely low for the parts. Chosen Solution My G7 LCD works fine, only the glass is cracked. All videos show replacing LCD with the glass attached. Is there a way to remove the glass only without damaging the LCD. THANKS The screen is bonded with a UV LOCA glue, and removing it requires significant experience - which few people have unless you work in a repair shop who does this regularly. Glass only is not a DIY job - leave that for someone who is experienced in it....
Chosen Solution So every time I turn on my PS4, the HDMI input keeps switching from no signal to no support over and over while the PS4 runs. It repeated this over and over, even in safe mode till I turned it off. Is there any fix for this? (I have an older Vizio television) Might need to try another HDMI cable and tv. Otherwise it could be bad HDMI port or HDMI encoder chip....
