Chosen Solution Hello. I own an Asus R510DP for over 5 years, and a few months ago the laptop started to have extremely high temperatures (70-75 degrees). The laptop was purchased again. I have not given much interest in this aspect (temperature) but lately it has become a disturbing cooler that often runs at maximum speeds. I cleaned it (suctioned, blowing with a compressor), applied a new thermoconductor paste, I dismounted the side of the fan and cleaned it with a small brush....

Chosen Solution My phone fell down. Although it has no cracks somehow the screen flickers every time I lock the phone and unlock it again. However it works completely fine after a reboot but again if I lock it the same problem arises. I have tried wiping the cache and it did not help. Hi @mahak_14 , When you go to lock the phone try gently pressing the power button without holding onto the frame too tightly if possible....

Chosen Solution My phone powers on but goes to android system recovery. It can be configured but it won’t reset it just powers back on and goes back to system recovery Sounds like your volume key is stuck in the down position try playing with the volume button to get it to normalize and be careful when powering it on that your not actually holding the volume keys when pressing the power button....

Chosen Solution I replaced a power supply that failed. The onboard LED indicators are telling me that everything is functioning until I connect the LCD display power cable. Then the power supply fails and all of the LED’s turn off. Do I need to replace the display or is there another issue? From what I’ve read it seems the issue could also be the inverter. I don’t know enough about computer hardware to know what the inverter looks like or how to test it....

Chosen Solution I was trying to replace the LCD/Digitizer on my laptop (Lenovo Yoga 700-11ISK). But the new LCD/Digitizer/Bezel, didn’t come with everything on it, so I had to transfer some parts over to it (webcam, wifi antenna, etc.). I have looked at the guide for this and it doesn’t go past just removing the screen. On the old screen, there is a little circuit board that the 2 ribbons from the LCD plug into that need to be transferred to the new bezel....

Chosen Solution I have a very new Maytag washer, model MVW7230HC, which died yesterday. When I say died, I mean the electronics. Nothing comes on at all. I have confirmed that the breaker for the outlet is not tripped and that the outlet is working. If I were a betting man I’d bet that there is a fuse or breaker in the washer that probably tripped, but I don’t have any idea where to look....

Chosen Solution My Lumix DMC-TZ10 will not let me take photographs, it keeps saying MEMORY CARD FULL. This is rubbish as there are only about 20 pictures on the card. How can I get rid of this message? I need to be able to use the camera by Saturday. But the memory card could actually be full! Try transferring the files to a computer. See if that helps. And if you dont have access to one, then use another memory card....

Chosen Solution The blender shot out some sparks, then smoke and stopped working. Does anyone know the cause and have a fix? Could it be the carbon brushes? I took the blender apart today. Upon breakdown, a broken washer/spacer (looks like nylon) fell out of the motor. I disassembled the brush holder and lightly sanded the commutator (which was almost black. I reassembled the motor and I was able to start the blender, but it was still sparking and making a stuttering noise....

Chosen Solution My Problem is much worse! Please Help Me! What does the image on an external display look like? If its clean then you’ll need a new display assembly, if the external is also messed up your logic board has a problem. Either way this is an expensive repair! Sadly, I suspect you banged the black clutch cover area which pressed against the cable and the T-CON board damaging it which would be the cause of needing a new display assembly....

Chosen Solution I have a HP Probook 430 (had to choose a similar to get the question accepted) and it has stopped charging. It senses the charging cable but it says “not charging”. Any idea anyone. @shamgodz possibly a bad battery. I’d go ahead and replace that first. You can of course also check this HP Site to find out how to test your battery. Anything after that would lead to a possible board level repair....

Chosen Solution So a few months ago I dropped my iPad and it flew out of its Survivor cover (I didn’t ensure all the clips were in when installing it) I picked it up to see what happened, surprisingly, it was still on with the app I was using on screen, but it had a severe bend in it, I checked to see if everything still worked, but when I tried touching the screen I noticed that one tap puts a heck of a lot of pressure on the LCD, I spend 1 and a half hours trying to unbend it, a bit of physical force and the help of heavy books it still didn’t unbend, I’m hoping to put some pocket money aside to get it repaired (or upgrade to a galaxy tab A) but I can’t find any repair guides nor shops that can fix my iPad without the risk of more physical damage....

Chosen Solution My IPad screen colour has gone extremely weird. Colour are becoming somewhat a bit negative (Negative colors are off) and colors look like they are slightly fading away. It is becoming a mix of greenish and pinkish but it is not a green static screen. Didn’t drop it or anything and just bought it about a year ago. Slight marks of previously used apps and keyboard also stay on the screen even after I have exited the app....

Chosen Solution It leaves the clothes still wet. Model number: mvwb835dw4 The most common reason is because the load in the drum is not balanced, so the tub won’t spin at full speed. If the machine starts to bang and thump and move around when it tries to spin dry the clothes, then this is your problem. If you only have a few items inside, and one is large compared to the others, you could try adding more large things like towels, and re-starting the machine at the start of the wash cycle again....

Chosen Solution It went off and now the flash light is always on, but the screen doesn’t work. I can’t see any water on the screen but I see a little bit on the camera. It’s impossible to turn it on, but the flash is always on! Sofia Borges you will need to treat it like any other water immersed device. The very first thing you want to do is to not try to restart/sync the phone....
