Chosen Solution Hi, My macbook pro 2010 17 inch refuses to boot unless it’s been untouched for some time or it’s plugged into a charger, i’ve tried resetting pram and smc but none of that has worked. It also refuses to boot into recovery mode unless plugged in. Disabling the gpu hasn’t done the trick either and the battery is brand new so any help would be appreciated Your battery is likely dead, press the battery checker on the side how many tiny LEDs light up and/or do they blink when you disconnect the charger....

Chosen Solution So after a liquid spill, a keyboard replacement, logic board cleaning, and main disk repair via Disk utility, I can still only use my laptop with the guest account, otherwise it shuts off at the Apple logo after showing a status bar that fills up a bit. It also shuts off before I can run AHT. When I manged to get into disk utility, my usual disk “Macintosh HD” was greyed out so I couldn’t verify it....

Chosen Solution And the charger sign does not light if the laptop doesnt even power on when its plugged in that sounds like the charging port is broken. probably worn out. pretty common problem. a computer shop or electronics repair place should be able to replace it for you.

Chosen Solution I recently got handed a Acer f220hql touchscreen monitor that is cracked. The touchscreen function no longer works but the actual display looks just fine. I do not care about the touchscreen component, but I would like to fix/replace the cracked part for relatively cheap. Here is a picture of the damage. Update (10/07/2017) I managed to successfully remove the broken glass from my monitor but now there is a line close to the edge :( I doubt there would be any easy fix....

What I got with my guages is 11 degrees freezer department, then the lower fridge lowest drawer is around 24 degrees, then 2nd drawer up is 35 degrees, then it jumps to 50 degrees up a drawer, then up to 60 degrees at the very top shelf....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a Philips DVD player DVP2850. Lately when opening the tray with a disc inserted, a sound of gears skipping is heard after which the tray successfully opens. I removed the cover and noticed that when pressing the open button with a disc on the tray, the laser mechanism goes back towards the edge of the DVD disc and keeps trying to go back.
