Chosen Solution I had two partitions of which one I deleted. Now Mavericks partition remains and free spaces on top of it. I am unable to resize the main partition and claim the free spaces left above. How should I do it? If you have good backup of your Mac then you can delete both the partitions and re-install OS X to a single drive. But do so only when you have exact copy of your existing Mac....

Chosen Solution Backstory: The 3TB HDD failed in my ‘Late 2012, EM2546, 27" iMac’ and i need to replace it. I got my machine asssessed from the Mac Center (an authorised repair center here in Sydney, Australia) and the quote for repair only mentioned replacement of the 3TB HDD and nothing about the PCIe SDD, so i am safely assuming its only my HDD that needs to be replaced. Chosen Solution Hi , my left blinker will not blink if the break paddle is pressed, it will sometime hesitate to blink and will blink once or twice. The right side seems fine, flasher relay replaced, the emergency switch is new. Again the right side is not affected at all. The left blinker will resume normal operation , when break paddle is not pressed. However what I noticed is a little green light is on where the arrow of the left blinker will blink on the instrument cluster if the break paddle is pressed , but the blinker switch not engaged to blink ....

If no cracks are present it is possible the water resistant seal on the display or back glass has let in moisture/liquid and is corroded the display. A screen repair or phone replacement seems imminent so just backup often ?

Chosen Solution Msg “insert SD card again” or “try another card” when inserting memory card; for all cards. ??? Had that too. The SD slot got stretched a little when a card got stuck once and I pulled it out with a screwdriver. Solution was to add a little thickness to the SD card. Otherwise the metal contacts on the card don’t touch the inside connectors ;-) If methods of @hellofellow won’t help, go to repair shop ans ask to diagnose SD Card slot, ribbon cable and MoBo....
