Chosen Solution Left speaker stopped working suddenly. Looking at the teardown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEJEgTBp… it seems like the left side has a soldered connection, not a connector. I contacted support, but was wondering what screwdriver size would be needed to open it since it’s smaller than anything I’ve seen/own. I couldn’t see the exact bit they were using in the video, probably the J00 or J000, but the kit they are using is the xiaomi wiha screwdriver set....

Chosen Solution Hello, suddenly the backlight of my Laptop just stopped working (with a lamp I can see what the screen is showing). Hi @manu86 Check the LCD cable itself for damage like twisting through the hinge or any kind of melting. It may also be unplugged slightly from the logic board inside the device....

Chosen Solution how do i test or check out this problem? Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen. Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart. Regards

Chosen Solution Last night I changed the thermal compound on the cpu and Now it wont boot or turn on a few things you cant try. open it back up and check the screw holes and make sure there arent any marks on the opposite side of the holes. ( IE long screw in short screw hole and it hit a PCB component. ( Hopefully its not this )) check your connections \ ribbons \ plugs, makes sure everything is seated properly....

And then the ampere slowly increasing to 1.4A -> 1.5A -> 1.6A -> 1.7A… While doing some coils like L7231, L7410, …, LA350 are very hot. There’s no chime, no display, no keyboard backlight. Chosen Solution I am lost. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that overheats constantly, no matter how small the task is. I have upgraded the HDD to a 500GB MX500 SSD, 4GB of RAM to 8GB of RAM, and reapplied the thermal paste with Arctic Silver 5. The MacBook Pro still overheats, even with the computer completely starting afresh in OSX 10.13.6. CPU temperatures spike up to 80ºC and fans fully spinning....

Hi @thx1326, Don’t know the answer but if you already have a 65W battery installed that needs to be replaced, try searching for the battery model number (printed on the battery) and not the laptop make and model number and see if that gives better results

Chosen Solution Monday afternoon, i went to get on my laptop and it won’t turn on. The charger indicator light appeared but still nothing. I tried the battery reset button but that made matters worse, the charger indicator light isn’t coming on. I’ve tried taking it apart and manually reconnecting and disconnecting the battery, still nothing. Did you use the main power to power the labtop on?? You seem to be talking like if you are trying to turn it on from the internal battery of the laptop...

The problem I’m dealing with is that a couple months ago the battery started to last like 3 hours, sometimes even less than that. I kept using the phone normally, but last week the phone reached 0% while I was at work… so then when I got home, I plugged the phone into the charged and I got nothing… So I though it was the battery since it was lasting a really short period of time....

You do want to check your AC adapter to ensure it delivers the proper voltage. By now your battery may be totally depleted so you do have to charge it for a while....

It wasn’t visibly damaged on the outside but it complains about “low battery temperature” whenever I try to charge it. Chosen Solution I have an LG Optimus F7 that got wet. Completely submerged. I was quick to get the battery out, pull the back cover off and spun it to get as much water out as possible. (Manual spinning dropping onto a pillow.) Took it apart completely and let it sit in rice for 24 hours. Now, it powers up, loads up, checks the SIM and SD cards fine. Shows I have both wifi and cell signal (Full strength on wifi and 4 bars on cell signal) yet it refuses to allow me to receive or make calls....

Or You need to press the dome light override button that is to the left of the steering wheel. This is with the knob that has all the controls for the exterior lights as well....
