Chosen Solution Button and cable has been replaced but volume wont go down when you press the button. It goes up and you can manually scroll down in the screen but not with the button. Hi Have you tried cleaning the connector’s on both the cable and the board as iv had issue where new parts don’t work but once I cleaned they with iso (isopropyl alcohol)they work again normally if this doesn’t work make sure all the pins look nice and shiny and not black or burned/damaged Hopefully this helps ,however if it doesn’t please don’t hesitate to give me a shout Thanks:-)

I have noticed, and by having done a dead pixels test, some pixels look dark blue/black when part of the right screen is grey or dark green or sometimes yellow. But otherwise, it looks fine....
Chosen Solution My Mac Mini Mid 2010 has issues logging in, going into internet recovery, and pretty much any task. It will appear to work fine for 5-10 minutes, then it powers off entirely, and the fans stop. This was the issue before I opened it to replace the thermal paste and clean the dust out. So I didn’t make it any worse or any better. The RAM sticks are OWC, so I think it’s safe to say they are in good health and quality....

Chosen Solution Sometimes it will display and sometimes it will not show Samuel Nwankwo intermittent error are very hard to fix. I’d suggest you start by checking your LCD screen and the connector. Check the cable for any damage and the connector as well. Clean both with some high grade 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. See if that changes anything. If it does not you may have to consider a new LCD. Anything after that would require a schematic to see where the signal comes from etc....

Chosen Solution I replaced my battery and very stupidly didnt shut it down before I fixed it. I tried charging it: At the start it showed the charging icon and then it dissapeared I tried putting it into recovery mode and it didnt help. Any advice? You might want to try unplugging the battery and holding down the power button for a bit (like 30 sec or so) to try and reset the hardware so when you plug it back in it will re-detect the hardware in the phone including the battery… I have had this work on other phones but I am not sure about the Nexus....
