Chosen Solution Hey I have a Chromebook Pixel (2013) that was working fine until soda spilled on my keyboard near the 40 pin connector on the motherboard. I took the laptop apart and cleaned off the soda and corrosion. There was corrosion on a resistor(?) named r005 and after I cleaned it I noticed it looks fried. The display works when connected to an external monitor. I can still see on the display only if I have a flashlight over it....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have an lg 55le5400 and I’m having some strange issues. After i use it for about an hour it will lose picture and sound for a split second, then sound comes back and picture shortly after. All in about a 1-3 second interval. Still has backlighting when it does this, and I’ve already replaced power and main board. Any help? It’s looking at probably tcon board right?...

Chosen Solution Just recently it completely turned off in the middle of a work session ( battery at least half full, and possibly also plugged in with the MagSafe). It now no longer turns on at all. No signs of any functions. Another working charger does not do anything, either. No charging light, no sounds that the fan is working, no keyboard lights working. I reset the controller and tried all the other shortcut key options to turn it on, but no luck....

Chosen Solution My Mid 2012 MacBook Air suddenly stopped working properly. First, some of the keys did not respond or were sending keystrokes repeatedly. For example, the power button was presumably hit and the device turned off. I tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM multiple times, but to no avail. I tried booting into recovery mode. I had a firmware password set and I could not enter it due to the keyboard error....

Chosen Solution I have an HP DV6000, and the thing wont power on. I have had it for over a year, and my warranty is up. I press the power button, and the Power and HDD Indicators and touch controls turn on for about a second, and then turn back off. I have tried this with and without the power adapter. When i plug in the power adapter, the machineindicates that the battery is charging (it indicates through the charging indicator light (Looks like a Lightning Bolt)....

Chosen Solution I ordered a battery from iFixit for my 2016 15” Touchbar Macbook Pro. Installed the battery, and everything seemed to go smoothly except that the glue really put up a fight. As soon as I rebooted the laptop, I noticed something wrong - the display was no longer working. I connected an external HDMI display via USB-C to see what was going on - MacOS didn’t even see the internal display anymore....

Chosen Solution This could be the same issue as: mba a1466 - liquid damage But want to get another opinion as a I have a few additional symptoms to narrow it down… History Model: MB Air late 2015 13” (a1466 model), 2.2Ghz cpu, 500gb flash drive. About 2 years ago, my 6-year-old found my MBA, spilled water (thankfully, “just” water) on MBA, which then doesn’t boot, won’t power on. I did the usual stuff of trying to leave it upside down, etc etc....

Chosen Solution Heya, purchased a Late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina, has no water damage or drop damage etc and just stopped working one day. When plugged in there is no light on the charger, any ideas what it could be or how to diagnose the issue? Could it be the magsafe port? I know for certain its not the charger cable itself. Any input is highly appreciated! This could be the DC-IN board, but more than likely this is a board-level problem....

Chosen Solution I recently changed my processor fan,Since then my micro sd card slot has stopped working.i tried installing the factory shipped drivers.it is also not showing in the device manager.my current os version is windows 10. Shoaib Sayyad, Maybe try a system restore, back to when the card reader was working. Check if the card reader is disabled in BIOS settings. At the first screen after restart, look for a key to press for Bios or Settings and verify that the card reader has not been disabled in the Bios settings....

Chosen Solution Is it ok if i have a 1GB RAM stick and a 2GB RAM stick in my computer? Yes! This is completely fine however, it is good practice to have the same brand of RAM sticks if possible. It would be fine, but you can go higher. Also, use the same brand of RAMs. One more thing to note would be to use, say, both DDR3 RAMs (the type should also be same)....

Chosen Solution I’ve been having intermittent image persistence on my monitor for a while now as well as the entire image ‘falling down’ for a second. The latter is most apparent when the apple logo/progress bar on a black screen appears during startup. Interestingly the problem has also been associated with a very harsh sound coming from the left speaker. Today the monitor problem became worse with the entire screen flickering and washing out with a blue field of vertical lines....

Chosen Solution When i start the mower and try and stary mowing it cuts out This is most likely a safety switch issue. Usually the seat safety switch will cause this problem. The mower dies because it thinks nobody is sitting in the seat, and shuts off for safety reasons. I have read this mower also has issues with the rollover safety switch (shuts off mower if it thinks it has rolled over)....

Chosen Solution My 2011 42” has the same issue, so im hoping to see some results on here. Im nowhere near as skilled to do all the diagnosis you guys do, but i could probably learn. I really love my plasma and all the still awesome advantages the tech still offers today,and would love to one day be able to get it to work again. In my case though i actually experienced the moment it failed....

Chosen Solution This is a reoccurring issue I have had since owning the computer in late 2015. It works fine if I can get it to turn on. The past 3 or 4 times I’ve had to unplug and move it I have been able to get it to turn on by tapping the back near the power cord. After it turns on once it restarts and reboots fine until I need to unplug and move it again....

Chosen Solution When I turn on my laptop it shows the loading circle with the hp logo then after that it gives me a blue screen saying an error occurred and the computer needs to restart after it does it goes into preparing automatic repair but after like 30 seconds it goes to a black screen Hp pavilion 15-b129wm manual page 120…. I inserted 32 GB card about 6 months ago and it worked flawlessly until today when, looking for a book stored on it in ‘my files’, it was no longer being recognized by the system. Chosen Solution i have been following through with the 4s battery replacement tutorial, but this little thing is proving to be a problem. i can’t seem to get it to sit still and it keeps moving around, and the phone only works when plugged in. any help? Update (11/11/2019) apparently the pressure contact has nothing to do with the battery, so what is going wrong? D: Forget the thing that holds down the antenna....

Chosen Solution My phone went off when I restarted it at 8% battery and was still plugged into the charger. I went to Samsung authorized center for a fix. They told me that the battery wasn’t showing the 1.2 amp power on their device and it’s not booting up. I asked them to replace the battery or check the charging port they keep saying that it’s not the issue. Is there a possibility to get it turned back on because they said if it won’t work then the whole motherboard is required to be changed....
