Chosen Solution Fan making sound while rotating Hi I would first take it off the ceiling and take it apart til you get to the motor and make sure the baring isn’t stuck and spins freely also while you are checking it I recommend putting some form of grease in it to help it spin if that doesn’t work if the motor has carbon brushes I would check them to see if they look heavy warn as this can cause this issue too Hopefully this helps Thanks:-)

After few hours of working with my iMac, the attack LED ( not the iMac) fell down from my desk on the floor. Chosen Solution I ended up picking it up with the owner saying awhile ago they were playing sims when it just shut off. i opened it up to take a look around and i noticed when i plug the charger in you can smell a smoke smell from where the port is. could the i/o board be the issue or could it be something else to why it wont boot up....

Chosen Solution My 2008 manual transmission won’t drive in any gear, it shifts easily, no grinding no noise, it just won’t go anywhere in any gear even reverse. Does anyone have answers or ideas? I got my car fixed, it was a defectve Dual Mass Flywheel, it broke the clutch disc, so the car could’t move. So it was a complete Clutch Kit replacement. Now its replaced and good to go....

My pc chashes every once a week and when it crashes i need to unplug my graphics card and plug inte in again after around 10 minutes for the pc to work again. And then after a week it does the same. Chosen Solution I got my charging port and battery replaced and now I can only make a call from the shop that repaired it? Does anyone have any idea what is going on? The charging port has antennas connected to it on Galaxy’s. I would bring the phone back to where it was repaired, have them check all of the connections for the antennas and insure that nothing is torn.

When I charged full Battery after using when I shut down and open it shows me less battery remaining % even laptop is properly shutdown. Chosen Solution After installing an new SSD (which replaced my old hard drive) into my iMac I reconnected the screen and hit the power button. The screen did not turn on, but the computer did. since then I’ve formatted the SSD and installed mavericks and migrated my old files over. I’ve been using my TV as a temporary monitor through all this. These are the things I’ve tried to get my screen running again: I’ve replaced: the LCD back-light cable the LCD data cable the LCD back-light sync I reset the pram and smc I shined a flashlight on the screen to see if the backlight wasn’t working (this is after replacing the cable) - There was nothing on the screen....

Chosen Solution Half of the metal charger broke off, leaving other half stuck inside my iPad mini. How can I fix this? Can you fit a set of tweezers in there? I’ve honestly never had this. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. jsare_dcotso iFixit does not do repairs. Here you get great guides like these ones and plenty of online help so you could do your own repair. As for who does it and how much, cannot be answered on this forum....
