Chosen Solution Apologies for the length of this i want to be thorough so you clever people may be able to help me Ok so about a week ago I thought I would tackle a niggling issue with 2 of my 3 usb ports that would not allow connection to be made I had tried things before like deleting drivers I think they are that had yellow exclamation marks on them in the device manager but never seemed to work anyway I Googled how to fix it and one forum said to add a I think it’s called “file” to my registry thing (regedit) called “USB” then add other things inide it can’t recall what it was called then give it a value of 1 which I did Maybe a minute after I did that the screen started to have all these crazy lines running horizontally alng the screen and vibrant patches of colour would pop up… I thought mayb there was water damage to the usb ports and “forcing” them to work may have caused this problem i tried to delete what I did but the computer display was getting worse so I turned it off and on again… While loading, the toshiba loading screen came up without a glitch but the usual blue log in screen came up with the problem I basically couldn’t see what I was doin to try and fix it even with a external hdmi lead to my tv…....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook booting to Recovery and the Disk Utility is showing Zero KB free with 100% of the used data being categorised as Other. I have tried First Aid on the drive itself and it says the repair operations are successful, but the partition on the drive is named “Untitled” and greyed out (cannot select First Aid on it). It takes about 10 minutes to boot and sometimes it comes up with the cirlce with the slash and then turns of. It used to take only 30 seconds to boot. Chosen Solution I installed my ordered ifixit battery yesterday, but upon checking the health I came across the age of the battery which 10.2 years old with a manufacture date of 3 Jan 2011 using battery health 2 app which I don’t think reliable. I am following the instruction to calibrate, but while discharging from 100% to 0% the battery went from 40% to 7%. This has me worried. Ifixit have said to run the battery for 20 cycles to properly calibrate....

Chosen Solution Hi, My MacBook is running Snow Leopard will not start up on battery, after 3 secs and some optical drive noise it shuts off. With charger attached it keeps cycling trying over and over to boot. When I removed battery and reset SMC holding the power switch with battery and AC disconnected it will start on the MagSafe. This is a new battery I have struggled to fully charge and discharge twice but still if it does start on battery is shuts down after a few mins of operation....
Chosen Solution I made a big mistake: I took apart my Samsung ML-2010 Laser Printer because the spongy roller had to be repaced and I didn’t know that the sponge material snaps out without tearing down the whole thing. Now that I’ve reassembled, some gears have flat ends on them, kind of like a letter D and I can’t figure out how to align the gears so that it will advance the paper sheets correctly....

Chosen Solution After I called ems the phone s stuck on emergency. 911 center not to happy with me. lol You could try a handful of solutions but the one I know that works is putting the phone into recovery mode and initiating an update with iTunes.
Chosen Solution When I connect the recharge it shows first empty battery sign then the apple sign, on off several times and then shows red screen and finish. What’s the problem? i have changed the battery with a new one and the result is the same. The red screen usually means there is a fault with the front camera / proximity sensor flex. Try disconnecting it, then boot the phone. If it boots as normal you will need to replace this part....

Chosen Solution Fell into snow and haven’t turned on in about a year Hello Ryan, If it fell into a snow, means it can be water damaged. I thing, it has a short circuit on HomeButton flex or Dock flex. Additionally, after a year of draining battery, that is a dead probably. A my advice in this case is that, if You known some about microsoldering & microelectronics open a phone, disconnect everything and try a start motherboard with no any accessories at all....

I found the batteries for sale online, but not how to actually open the phone up to get to the batteries. I don’t want to try anything yet for fear of permanently damaging the phone. My Macbook Pro (Early 2011 15”) left fan is always running at over 7000 RPM (out of an apparently maximum 6200), and the right fan rarely comes on. I think the right fan rarely coming on is due to the machine not being under much stress. According to TG Pro, and other monitoring software, all my temperature sensors are reporting healthy temperatures in the TG green range, and it can’t seem to pick up any hardware issues....
