The Card Failed, and have since replaced it with a number of cards with Nvidia and ATI. It’s currently fitted with the ATI X1900. Chosen Solution A few days after out of warranty both USB ports quit working. Apple replaced the motherboard for a one time customer favor. The USB ports worked for a few days, then quit; they have not worked since. I have tried clearing PRAM, SMC, reloading OS from scratch, cleaning the ports with Isopropyl alcohol with no luck. I never received the over power notice and the only things that have been put in them are a mouse, usb hard drive for time machine, and thumb drives....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro Mid 2012 A1278 power button was not working however I was able to get it to start up by unplugging the battery and attaching the charger. I changed the keyboard & power button to try and rectify the issue but now the MacBook won’t turn on at all. The charger still appears to work and the green light is showing, I did however try and short the power pads and nothing has happened so I’m starting to think it’s logic board related....

Chosen Solution Well i got this model of Mac, brought to me from friend of mine, what she did is during the rendering video they smash them at keyboard,and mac wont to turn on again, they just shut down, as i have some expirience in fixing computers, i did ful teardown of mac, i suspect that keyboard is broken and power buton dont work anymore, so i tryd already with battery disconected powering charger, but they wont turn on, Since i suspect that power button is dead i cant clear cmos, and now i looking a solution to try a find online whic one pins on motherboard i need to short to drain all power, cause still when all is disconnected they show me about 13 volts on some capacitors and etc...

Instead of just removing the cable from the connector, I removed the entire connector thingy along with the cord of the motherboard. I believe this may be referred to as removing the solder pads? Chosen Solution Mine sat in the box for 4 years, after opening it and leaving it to charge for 4 hours I go to turn it on and all that happens is the “intel inside” logo appears on a black screen, and it stays frozen that way indefinitely?! Chosen Solution I have a 2010 Ford Escape XLT V6 4WD, and some of the windshield wiper speeds do not work. Only the moderate speeds. I have slow full speed, but none of the others work. I’ve been able to get by, with treating the glass with Rain X solution but I really want to have all my speeds. I think it’s the switch, because it does work when you use the spray fluid button....

I have checked all the switches in the battery door, replaced the 3v lithium internal battery. I’ve checked the switches in the card door. I’ve tried new batteries and new cards. Chosen Solution My chev S15 drivers window will go down but will not go up? Has anyone had this problem. It makes no sound when I push the button for it to go up. I can’t hear any motor or noise. Sounds like the switch is bad. You can possibly have a bad motor but it should make an effort to come up if the motor was weak. I would try a switch....

Chosen Solution No power behavior is really only a couple of things. First, are there no lights whatsoever? If there are lights, what do they look like. If there’s no LED or screen activity, then there is likely a short, and that would prevent boot.

Chosen Solution I’m having the most bizarre problem. My headphones work perfectly when I plug them into the lightning jack — they never get disconnected, or have any issue whatsoever. But when I unplug the headphones and plug in the charging cable, nothing happens! I tried resetting the phone — no dice.
