Chosen Solution Hello fellow iFixers, Does anyone have a good teardown video of the LG Stylo 2? I have one coming in next week and will be looking on youtube for any repair videos, just looking for tips and tricks to watch out for during disassembly. Chosen Solution Just cleaned my ps4 this week for the first time it was not overheating but just wanted to clean it and change out thermal paste(didnt put too much or too little) . Now that i put it together and turned it on while i am playing games fan is very loud, louder than before cleaning yet my ps4 is warm but not hot. My guess is not enough thermal paste between APU and heatsink....

My problem resides in the Lower Ram Slot, as when I insert the lower & upper Ram in the upper RAM slot it works fine but when I try to switch on my laptop with both the RAM inserted, it won’t switches on with 3 beeps with pause of few moments, also tried either of RAMs in the lower slot but the problem persisted....

Chosen Solution My 2015 Macbook Pro screen went black last week. I connected it to an external monitor and found out the laptop is still completely functional, just with a black screen. I wiped my hard drive and installed MacOS fresh. However the screen still has issues so I’m thinking it must be hardware. Sometimes when I turn it on the screen does work and has no visible issues. No dots/lines/weird colors/etc....

Chosen Solution when i switch on my phone a message comes internal sd card full please replce some application and then it restarts again every time i cannot proceed to unistall any applications it keeps on restarting again and again You can hard ‘using volumes key and power key’reset your phone , and clear phone memory from there

Chosen Solution My phone previously had a cracked screen that still work then I dropped it again and the microphone in it stopped working right after that. I got a screen replacement and problem is still there. Music plays and I can talk to Siri but there is no audio from me taking videos or on a phone call unless I have my AirPods connected. Would anyone have and quick solutions or advice on what to do about this?...

Chosen Solution When i use a stylus on my RCA tablet it only registers it on the left and right sides. The middle of the screen will not register the stylus pen at all. It will register my finger occasionally but it’s teally frustrating when i try to draw. Your screen needs to be calibrated. Go into your device’s settings and find a touchscreen calibration option. Run the calibration and the device should more accurately be able to read your presses....

Chosen Solution The problem began 2-3 weeks ago while the device was charging. Reboots are not spaced evenly at 180s apart, which probably indicates the sensor is responsive at times and not at others? At the beginning of the issue, I could sometimes use it for 5-10 minutes without rebooting, and sometimes less. Charge level fluctuates around 10-20% on each reboot and just randomly when unlocked. The reboots got more frequent and regular over time....

Chosen Solution Can i do a master reset If you forgot the combination, the only way to unlock the iPod Nano and enter a new one is to reset it to factory settings. This means that you will lose all your data on the iPod. To restore the iPod Nano to factory settings you have to connect the iPod to its primary computer and select “Restore” from iTunes > Summary tab....

Chosen Solution Hello: My ESC mainboard (Phantom 3 Standard) has an short circuit. I can’t see any damaged component (looking with electronic microscope), but tester indicates 00 (total cotinuity) between + and - of battery power. Oviously if battery inserted and try to power on, battery detects the short circuit, blinks some seconds and power off. I unsolded component between VCC and GND, but short circuit continues and component seems good....

Chosen Solution I was mowing with my Murray MZ 2142 Zero turn mower, when it just locked up. I removed the spark plug and tried using PB Blaster but the motor is not completely locked up. it will turn several times before it stops. any idea what I can do or try? If your motor runs for a moment before stopping, you might have some gunk in your fuel system - maybe the carburetor....

Chosen Solution Hello,there.Im firdaus from malaysia and i am one of the samsung galaxy s advance user.And i have my problem eith my phone.Since i’ve upgrading to android 4.1.2 using Samsung Kies ,and i want to upgrading it with android 4.4.4 that is kitkat but with cyanogenmod ver.But,since i’ve downloading the zip file for android 5.1,it suddenly said that my android keyboard isnt responding.and accidently formatting almost everything including phone system and i do many things such as phone recovery and also advance recovery and it still wont work....

Chosen Solution my laptop suddenly shuts down and won’t turn back on, the charger is working, is there any way to fix this? Try the following and see if it works Unplug your charger cord. Remove the battery. Press and hold the “Power” button for 30 seconds. Now plug back in the power/charger cord. Now put the battery back in. If it doesn’t help, then test the power cord to see if it is good....

Chosen Solution My note 3 does not pick up any wifi signal and never connects (obviously) to wifi as well. Is there a way to fix this? Hi @jimtumbo , Does it detect a WiFi network at all when it is placed right next to a WiFi router? If it does it may be that the WiFi antenna is loose or has become disconnected from the systemboard. Chosen Solution Empty microwave runs for 5-30 seconds after it is turned off, and when the door is shut. The sound of a MW running can tell you if the magnetron is on. If not, you put a cup of water in when it does this does it warm the water? If the magnetron is running, that is definitely not good. If just the fan and maybe the table is running, that is not proper but not dangerous....

Chosen Solution Icons are changed after deleting some apps , the original shape got changed and there is a blue frame around all icons; camera’s icon changed become strange and old style . I didn’t install any app for icons, what about this problem? Hello you can factory reset your tab reagards

Chosen Solution My iPhone 4 got completely soaked. It tried booting up when it was drying out. I didn’t know the trick to forcing it to turn off. It finally turned off itself (scary). I dried it out for a couple of days (with sunlight and rice). It would not boot up. It also does not even recognize with it’s plugged into the computer to charge. I changed out the battery, but it still does nothing....

Chosen Solution I purchase a replacement kit ,from ifixit, and after using it for two weeks, my phone started to lose its charge and now it show 50% charge, but it doesnt fully recharge on 8hrs. It only works when I have my phone plug in on charge. I also noted, that the battery kit, said that the battery is comparitable to the existing one. It’s very likely that you have a bad battery....

Chosen Solution My laptop is not turning on, when I try to on it just keypad light is turning on and fan is starting and then everything goes of in 2 seconds. If the laptop turns on and then shuts down after 2 seconds, it may be caused by a dying battery, overheating, faulty RAM, the motherboard, or the CPU. According to the Lenovo ThinkPad P50’s documentation, only the battery and RAM modules are replaceable....

Chosen Solution So, I bought this controller about a year ago and, as it was my 2nd controller, never used it so often. Then, my first controller broke, and I had to use this 2nd one since then. So, I noticed that whenever I moved the analog stick to the right, it computed as if I was moving diagonally to the bottom-right corner. Whenever I moved to the left, the movement in-game was as if I was moving diagonally to the top-left....
