Chosen Solution Lighting struck near by and our TV went out I don’t know if it’s one board or both boards. eds95hog all of this “the fuse was blown I replaced it but it was to big and it blew that fuse and also took out I think a thremrister also NT811s” would lead me to purchase a new power board. Schematics for your PSU are not available, so to determine what has potentially failed is going to be tough....

In the region where I live (QC. CANADA), finding a reasonably priced PSU is quite difficult. So I bought another inexpensive Mac Pro with the idea of using the PSU to replace the faulty one. After using this computer for two weeks, I can confirm that it is working without problems so the PSU appears to be in good condition....
Chosen Solution I have a Mac Pro late 2013 and it started randomly shutting down by itself. When I try to turn it on again the back panel illuminates but the power button won’t. I tried resetting the smc, pram, but didn’t work. If I let the machine unplug for a few hours it will let me turn it on again, it boots and works fine for just a few minutes and turns itself off again....
Chosen Solution Hi Guys, It has been few months now that my battery and my display died on my MacBook. The display is fully cracked due to falling on the ground and the battery was only running when power adapter was plugged in, the system would turn off instantly as soon as the power adapter was unplugged. So I was using it as a desktop computer with an official Apple Multi-port dongle adapter (since there is only one USB-C port on these), plugging the HDMI to an external screen and the power to the USB-C port of the adapter....

For cal, charged to 100% + two hours, then started to run down to zero. Died after just a few hours, and now won’t charge at all. Reset SMC several times. MagSafe light is orange, coconutBattery sees all zeros, see attached. I tried to run hardware diagnostic (holding D at boot), but it boots into internet recovery, with or without option key....

I’ve gone as far as jumping the car to start it, then remove the positive cable terminal from the battery, and the car dies. Can I repair this myself or are there any fixes for this other than buying a new camera? When you go to charge your battery in the battery charger and experience any error when doing so or if the battery doesn’t charge at all then the battery is most likely short circuited....

The soft cover of my computer got wet as well I didn’t think it would affect my laptop, it wasn’t much liquid for the whole bag. The following day I turned the computer and it worked for a short bit, but there was “no battery detected” statement or something of this kind.
