Since your TV shows images when being indirectly lit, this sounds like one of those cases. You can measure the output from the power board to the LED’s and let us know what voltage your power board supplies. Based on this “This “went black but showing blurring picture” there is also the slight possibility that it is the T-con board that is messing up your TV....

A quick search of eBay shows costs around $30 to $50 or so. Buyer beware on eBay though. You may be able to find a batter source by searching the internet.

Chosen Solution Model is panasonic tc-l58e60 See pictures of the problem. I was told by the only TV repair shop near me over the phone that the panel is possibly gone bad. If I leave the TV unplugged for a couple days the display is 100% clear and works fine for about 2 hours before the lower half goes dark and fades left to right. Chosen Solution Old charger was giving me trouble (mostly cable) for some time. While working, noticed the battery going down, not charging (no light on charger connector). Decided that the cable tried to fix it (fixed it about 4 time before) - nothing. Battery discharged completely, MacBook died. Disconnected battery, plugged Charger back. Reset SMC as was suggested. Chosen Solution My 15 inch MacBook Pro has been randomly shutting down for about 2 weeks now. Even when I’m only using one application it’ll randomly shut down. Chosen Solution macbook pro 13" mid 2014 has rainbow vertical lines on led backlit retina screen. Its on the right side of the screen. It doesnt seem “cracked” but more like Squished, or a little smushed? As per what Dan suggested, a clear picture or two would allow confirmation but per initial description it sounds that the LCD itself may be damaged. That picture would let us confirm exactly what happened though....
