Chosen Solution My laptop does not seem to want to charge. The battery is an A1189 series and it seems to get hot when attempting a charge. My guess is that the old battery is the issue. How can I secure a new battery and/or is the entire laptop package obsolete. Lots of replacements out there. Look at the battery icon and click, it will give you a health grade status....

Hi, Have you checked that it is the mouse that is the problem and not the USB port that the mouse is connected to, you didn’t say? Try plugging the mouse into another known working USB port and check if the laser light turns on or not. If it doesn’t then you may have to open the mouse and using an Ohmmeter, check that there is continuity for the power wires (Vcc and GND) in the mouse cable between the plug and the mouse....

Chosen Solution So I replaced the screen of my iPhone 6 with an afermarket screen, everything went fine exept for the fact that the screen is slightly lifetd exposing about 1mm of the plastic fram. Chosen Solution I recently tried to replace my hard drive with an SSD and, well, that didn’t go great. It worked fine until I tried to do a time machine restore on the new drive. After that nothing boots on my computer anymore — not the new hard drive, not the old one. They don’t boot up connected externally either. It however boot externally on other computers. I reinstalled the OS on the drive from a different computer and it runs fine....

Chosen Solution My craftsman mower will turn over as long as I hold the key in the “start” position but won’t actually start until I release the key into the “run” position. @noose sounds like an issue with the ignition switch I’d replace it and recheck after. Of course you want to make sure that no wires were switched around on the ignition switch.

Chosen Solution the batteries were left in the the battery area and corroded. I was able to remove them but the area is badly corroded. Is there any way to repair this? Keeping the camera upright so nothing drips inside of it, a mixture of water and baking soda will clean things up. Apply with multiple foam Q-tips to get up inside the battery compartment. Use high-strength (91% or higher) isopropyl alcohol on a foam Q-tip to clean out the baking soda mixture....
Chosen Solution I know my starters bad so I have to pop start it and now it dose want to pop start at all my battery fine @dillpick time to finally replace the starter then re-evaluate. Could be shorted sensor, broken (loose) wires as well as multiple other things. Right now you know for sure that your starter is broken, so start with that.

If not, maybe just the charging contacts are corroded. Try cleaning the contacts of your buds and in the case where they touch.

Chosen Solution My Kenwood Chef (1991) does not rotate and unwinds the nut if the food mix is solid (even a pastry mix). I have had it serviced about 10 years ago because this was happening but it still didnt rotate. Its fine with liquids (little resistance) Janet Bradshaw it is possible that the plastic drive pinion gear is slipping. The plastic version of the gear splits frequently and it will run under no load but once some torque is required, like when it needs to mix stuff, it will slip....
