Instagram was open all night, and now theres little squares and circles from the notifications page that show up on darker backgrounds. Chosen Solution Hi, I am quite new in the repair buisiness. I have ordered a few screens now but the last ones are doing something weird? I can plug them in, i cleaned the connectors with alcohol. But strangly sometimes they work perfectly and sometimes they look broken? The lcd is on but black/blue or i get stripes (vertical and horizontal, colored) and sometimes they just work. I don’t get it....

Chosen Solution i hope you guys can see the image that i attach. ive been trying to repair this phone , all shops try to change the LCD , but it not working ( all black screen when the phone turned on) the shops try 5 unit new LCD. all pitch black upon start. when i get the current screen back on , the screen is turned on - but flikering all over the places....

Chosen Solution I stopped using this headset for a while, so I packed up the wires and put it back in it’s box the way it got shipped to me. I opened it up back in December of 2017 when I got a new PC. It worked fine for a long time, although the wire braid started to wrap around itself, causing the underwire to become exposed (not the actual wires under the entire thing, just the not braided point that has a matte color, it’s still covering the actual wires) and bent at a very steep angle....

Chosen Solution Looking for schematics of the logic board of a 2017 27” iMac. Symptoms are black screen at start up and fan at full speed. 4 (rather 3.5) out of 5 diagnostic LEDs are lid but there is 0 signal from the LCD. I am trying to see if i have failed fuses F4400 or F8100 as of the Technician Service Manual. But i cant really exactly make out which components are the right ones....

Chosen Solution Where can I find the frame for a fugoo xl? The charging port is broken and doesn’t look like it can be replaced by it’s self. I have the same problem too. What I did was cut away at the thick plastic around the charging port with a soldering iron, then I removed the broken part of the charge port and soldered a wire to the +ve and -v e ends of the port and connected these externally to another port and charger which I took from an old device....

It’s giving to me by a friend so don’t have warranty paper, though it’s unused. Written 2 year warranty on it but don’t know how to get it checked. Chosen Solution My laptop suddenly started producing a scratching noise and as a result I decided to turn it off. Now, it replays the “Republic of Gamers” animation over and over again when I try to turn it on. I had a feeling the scratching noise was the HDD but would the HDD cause the computer to break completely? Chosen Solution My laptop is over heating … could it be the fan or something else? Donna goforth, yes it sure could be. First thing to check is that the air inlet vents are not obstructed. If those are good, you will have to disassemble your Laptop.. the clean it properly of any kind of dust etc. Replace the thermal paste on the CPU and check the fan. I would definitely replace the fan since the computer is disassembled anyway....

Chosen Solution So my macbook pro fell of the bed on the back of the screen. when I checked if there was any damage there was a couple of horizontal lines on the screen. a couple days later the problem got worse. it looks like the damaged area shows the wrong pixels. is the screen broken or has this something to do with the connector ? @wountata looks like a broken LCD....

Chosen Solution Hi First of all excuse my bad English, I replaced my screen and i followed the instructions step by step and the screen worked for like ten second and turned black, everything else work, the touch on the screen is working , the touch ID is working, the front camera is working( how did I know? I connect my phone to my mac and with quick player you can see your phone through your mac), I restart my phone and didn’t work, I reconnect the screen cables and power cycle my phone....

Chosen Solution My Nexus 10 tablet used to connect to the internet just fine, but now I cannot seem to get the Wi-Fi to connect, even with a known working network. I tried to reboot my device, but it won’t work. I was having a similar problem and came across this thread. To prevent similar issues as https://xkcd.com/979/ , I will post my findings. It appears that PMF (Protected Management Frames) interfere with WiFi connections on the Nexus 10....
