Chosen Solution About every 6 months, my LG fridge has the coils in the bottom freezer get completely frosted over and shuts down. I have to take it apart from the inside, I literally place a space heater inside of it and thaw out the coils. After this is completed, I put it back together, turn it back on and it is fine for another 6 months until it freezes up again....
Chosen Solution Laptop won’t turn on. I have cleaned the logic board, no corrosion marks on the logic board. I have checked the voltages and this is what I find. Input from the charger connector: 21V PPBUS_G3H: 13.3V PPBUS3V3_G3H: 3.4-3.5V The entire logic board becomes hot when I connect the charger. All the large caps heat up and it gets hot especially around the CPU area, not sure if this is normal....
Chosen Solution The battery is definitely fully charged, no liquids, was working fine last night but it does usually run hot. I replace the hard drive myself in April. I was going to replace the RAM just in case, but then the RAM was stolen/confiscated by TSA. Any ideas what needs replacing/ repairing now? And extra helpful if there’s a way to go about this in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I’ll have some time in the US soon, but I need my laptop to work in the meantime....
Chosen Solution So I just repaired my MBA with a display assembly that I bought off ebay. I followed the ifixit guides and everything went pretty smoothly. I turned it on and it booted up fine with the display working perfectly. But after around 2 mins of usage the screen and the keyboard backlight went dark. I’ve then tried to power cycle it, reset SMC, PRAM etc and it won’t boot up again....
Chosen Solution so a couple months ago i fell asleep listening to music on my macbook and woke up to it dead and not charging. no lights on the magsafe even turn on when i connect the charger and it’s really got me bummed out because my mac pretty much has my life on it. anyways i’ve tried a couple of solutions and troubleshot online to no avail. i’ve tried the smc reset, i’ve opened up the back and disconnected the battery and did all that jazz and still didn’t work....
Chosen Solution I recently replaced my macbook’s keyboard and before doing so my battery worked fine. But today, the day after replacing the keyboard, it keeps restarting and the info for my battery in the task bar says “replace now". It won’t start up without the MagSafe adapter plugged in. Sometimes it will stay on longer than other times. Right now, it’s on and has been on for about 15 mintues, but that’s because i haven’t touched it, i’m not using it....
Chosen Solution All in the title. MacBook Pro also only operates with the charger plugged in. When the charger is disconnected it just instantly shuts off and doesn’t start up until it is plugged in again and the power button is pressed. When on and plugged in, the battery is stuck at 1% and the Mac operates extremely slowly and laggy. *Bought used a few weeks ago. Most probably your battery has died!...
Chosen Solution This particular machine has AMD gpu issue since long time ago. I got black screen and white stripes couple days ago. I sent it to local computer shop for repair to remove/disconnect the dGPU so I can still us the laptop. Chosen Solution I have a quite old LG LCD monitor, after i am using it for about 30-40 minutes the monitor screen goes off for a second then comes back, after another 20-30 minutes it is going off again and this happens constantly but always needs 10+ minutes to happen. Chosen Solution My brand new DS4 controller doesn’t charge even if it’s plugged into a USB port at an outlet. When plugged in, the controller emits an orange amber light, different from the yellow amber light that it usually emits (tested it out with my other old controller and can definitely notice a difference in color). When I check back into my PS4 using that controller, it’s battery life hasn’t increased at all, more like decreasing like it’s being drained while charging....
