They said they designed a Killswitch if they have a certain update on their phone the 10.1. if theres any repair done to the phone it does a kill and the home button won’t work. In my experience, if you have a non-apple home button then you shouldn’t upgrade....
Chosen Solution Changed the display as directed here but now the Laptop is not powering up. OK, the good news is the two systems are a match (same series) so the issue is not using the wrong display (Apple altered things a bit so while the displays look alike they aren’t across some series).
