Chosen Solution I want to replace italian keycaps with russian keycaps(keyboard keys and key layout is the same) but I can’t find any keycap set for 16 inch, there is only 2016-2019 butterfly keycaps. any suggestions? I wouldn’t recommend swapping out any of the Butterfly keycaps since the 2015 MacBook and the 2016 MacBook Pro’s to the 2019 the keyboards are just too fragile! The newer Magic keyboard which goes back to a newer scissor design is just too new to know if the keycaps are even serviceable and I wouldn’t recommend swapping out the full uppercase just to changeout the keyboard as that’s a $1,000 USD expense!...

Chosen Solution Hi, I changed the display assembly from the macbook. After the replacement no image. The trackpad clicks when I power on the macbook but touch bar en green light shift does not work, no fans spinning. I can see an extern mouse is “working” when connected (red light from the mouse). 1 time the fans were running and another time I heard the charging bling (bling bling bling bling bling, … until i pressed power button)....

Chosen Solution so I have owned the envy-17 for just over 7 months now and i regularly game on it, currently its fortnite and GTA5. but recently I have found that trying to play either of these game at all is impossible due to large frame rate drop and large memory usage when I have had multiple hours of game play on both with no problem on this device. I have re-installed the graphics drivers a couple of times and completed virus and malicious scans that come up with nothing....

Chosen Solution Is the Graphics card upgradable in this model? Yes it can but it’s not for the faint of Heart. You need some specialized hardware to flash a Dell Alienware GPU that is identical to the Apple one except for the firmware. Here is a great answer by one of our own. Chosen Solution I have two compressors outside for AC units called minisplits These compressors have about a 2’ x 4’ circuitboard laying across the top of the unit. They were submerged in the recent Houston flood for about 3 or 4 days. Can they be saved? Dennis If you still haven’t powered up the system you might be able save them! You’ll need to pull them off and wash them down with distilled water with some bleach (as well as the unit as a whole with pressure wash)....

Chosen Solution This started last winter The same happens if the computer is asleep, I will come back to it, it a key to wake it up, the screen turns on a split second and it turns off, then pressing the power button does nothing I have now replaced the battery, but still have the same problem The only way to turn it back on is to physically heat it slowly for about 10 minutes (on a wall heater, or on an electric stove, so the top case feels warm to the touch, then do an SMC reset (holding shift-control-opt and the power button 10 sec) then pressing the power button again....

Chosen Solution My ipod 2 generation wont work when i try to unlock it. The bar unlock wont work. The screen is perfectly fine and also has brightness not scratches. I am concern my unlock bar wont unlock because when i got off taking a shower i touched my ipod with my wet hands and also my hair was soak in wet and touches the ipod also. It really depends on a lot of variables like how much liquid was spilled, where it went in the laptop, what components are affected, availability of good repair facilities in your area, the repair facility’s capabilities, and how much money you have to repair. I’m not trying to sound critical but your question is fairly vague so I hope this is enough information for you....

Chosen Solution my laptop pluged battery light is not blinking Hi, Check if there is 19.5V DC at the plug at the end of the charger cable to make sure that the charger is OK. If the charger is OK you need to check if the DC-In jack (supplier example only) on the motherboard is OK. Sometimes the centre pin of the jack breaks internally and this opens the +ve wire of the power supply and the battery can’t charge or the laptop can’t turn on....

Chosen Solution Phone screen freezes. It was doing it about four months ago and just stopped. Now it’s doing it again frequently. It started off with maybe once a month. Now it’s doing every day. Chosen Solution i replaced the digitizer on my ipad 3, and when i tested it the lcd wont turn on. i hear sounds when i plug it in, but no picture. before i started the repair, the ipad was turned off and i used all plastic tools. the clips are still in normal working order, and no wires were cut, knicked or torn…please help I took the adventure of replacing the digitizer by self and i got the same problem that it didn’t turn on after reconnecting the lcd panel and new digitizer....

Chosen Solution Hi there, I bought this iMac a few months ago with an issue of it turning off right after start-up. Narrowed it down to be the backlight turning off. Flashed the hard drive, installed Sierra, tested it for several days under different loads, no problem. Sold it to my Dad for a few hundred bucks as he needed a new computer. Few weeks into him having it, the problem came back....
