It is soldered to the mainboard. You could check and see if a resolder might fix it (if one or two of the contacts are loose). Worst case would be to replace the port....

Chosen Solution My Genesis won’t turn on, and the LED doesn’t light up, any help/ideas? Was it working recently? If so it could be that the adapter blew. If you just pulled it out of storage, couldn’t find the adapter, and tried a random one, that’s probably the problem. Model 1 takes a 9V DC adapter with reverse polarity from most other things (positive outside, negative inside), and if you use the wrong polarity or voltage it’s not going to work (and you could break the console)....

Chosen Solution I dropped my device and now when I try to turn it into landscape, it won’t rotate. Sounds like a calibration problem. You can re-calibrate the phone by going into settings. Then select “display and gestures” and choose “G-sensor Calibration”. Make sure its on a flat surface, though, so it calibrates properly.

Chosen Solution LG Refrigerator model LFX21960ST. LG display panel dead, dispense light on constantly, ice not being made and unable to dispense anything. This happened once before in 2019, but the problem went away. When you press any button only the dispenser light dims or goes off. Fridge and freezer work perfectly. There is power to the ice machine, but I believe it won’t make ice because control panel/display is offline....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, feeling defeated as of now. I spilled a large coffee, turned everything off and let dry for days as one should. Tried it, nothing. No orange charging light. Replaced logic board and it showed the orange light. The fans suddenly started to spin at full speed but no chime and no screen. Tried turning on with the power on button but nothing. I suspected it was the keyboard so I disconnected the charger and the keyboard and back light ribbon, then used a flat headed screwdriver on the powerpads to fake a power on button press....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, So I’ve been trying to fix my G27 wheel for a little while now but to no avail. Basically the problem I’m having is it won’t calibrate the wheel to the center and won’t recognize my shifter, clutch or brake. The calibrating issue will only occur when I’m in game but the shifter and pedals are all the time. Any Ideas? Chosen Solution i reset my whole phone because of space and it kept sticking. all my ringtones and standard ringtones are gone. How do i get them back? The standard ones should repopulate when the device is restored. Maybe try restoring again? Or, does your device have a file explorer? if not, you could try downloading one, (like ES file explorer) and look around to see if there is a media folder containing those audio clips....

Chosen Solution New battery from ifixit installed. Cycled battery x 2. When it shuts off from low battery it will not prevent a restart attemt. The old battery would give me an indication that the phone needed to be charged before it tried to restart. Now it attempts to restart and gets caught in a reboot cycle. Any ideas? Chosen Solution Microwave heats when you close the door. Can’t stop with buttons, stops when open the door. Seems like everything works correctly with door open. Close door starts up again, checked three door switches. Two were normally closed and one normally open, tested with door open, switches operated properly. @linwood your door switches sound like they are operating correctly. This sounds like a bad keypad. Check on that one.

Chosen Solution There was a water spillage on my Mac. I used isopropyl to clean and revive. I am currently writing this question from Mac I revived by running OSX from USB flash drive. SSD removed. Chosen Solution I just had my back glass lazered and replaced. Since then i’m experiencing microphone issues. I’m wondering if the tech didn’t damage a microphone with heat. I would love for someone to help me out and tell me which mic it is. All mics sound normal when I use videos. Chosen Solution I found the iPad under my SUV ground is soft - no cracks, not bent, few on the front screen and it was left outside from 530-1130 so it was either over heated bc it’s hot here in Georgia or it was ran over and just didnt crack or bend…. only the middle of the screen is greyed out with a few vertical lines through it that are not grey - fully functional you can even push buttons through the grey screen if you know where to push bc obviously you cant see through it… I’ve tried pressing home and power button but nothing changed after reset- should I take it apart yo see if anything was disconnected or could it be heat related...
