Chosen Solution Hi, I have a laptop ‘Acer Aspire 5820T Timelinex’ and I bought it back in 2010 in Italy. Today I own 3 more laptops but 5820T is special for me! I want to keep it forever, I tried to maintain its OS and it’s pretty clean software wise. Chosen Solution its not showing on the iconx manager and device manager @borj.leevan Just verifying that you checked under “Other Devices” in Device Manager? I think that maybe the USB drivers are in the Gear Iconx program folder. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Gear IconX) hopefully you will find the file SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe Try installing the drivers by clicking on the .exe file

Chosen Solution My phone don’t turn on and I think I had a problem with its BIOS. Does anyone know how to reset the phone in the motherboard and how to install a new BIOS? First try to see if its a battery issue before anything to do with its BIOS. Take the battery out, and plug in the charger and see if it directly powers it. If it does, then it’s a battery issue....

Chosen Solution My phone fell from the second floor but the screen didn’t break. It has a small crack in the side plastic. Apparently it doesn’t turn on, but when I connect the charger it vibrates as if it were charging. When I press the power button, it vibrates. I will tear it down to visually check for any issues, any tips? Sounds like the phone is still powering on but the display isn’t functioning anymore....

Chosen Solution The bottom lip of the L2 trigger button is stuck outside of the back panel of the controller. I can’t figure out a way to fix it without breaking the bridge between the L1 and L2 buttons. This may be a little overkill but you should open up the cover on controller and free it that way if you break those small tabs your controller will not function properly here is how to open up your controller....

Chosen Solution Yes light on bottom of tv is on black screen @bady0522 what is the exact make and model for your TV? It sounds like you are saying that your power LED is on but you have a black screen. You are not telling us if you have sound. If you do have sound then, in a darkened room, turn the TV on to a channel where you have sound etc....

Chosen Solution After replacing the battery on my iPad mini 4, everything went to plan, but now there are lines across the screen and the home button lost most functionality. Touch ID still works, but I had to add an accessibility button to the Home Screen in the interim. There is NO visible damage to anything, all connections are seated. Any ideas? If you confirmed the connections are seated and there is no physical damage that you can spot, odds are you most likely damaged the LCD....

Chosen Solution My sister has a Logitech Type+ keyboard for an Ipad. It does not have replaceable batteries, they are rechargeable. The green light comes on when it is fully charged. When the Ipad is placed on the magnet hinge the kbd does not turn on. It should turn the light green, then flashing blue, then solid blue when paired. Nothing lights up. I am assuming there is a problem with the switch mechanism in the magnet but I can’t find any disassembly pictures to see how it works....

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2014 15” MacBook Pro with retina display. I do not have any issue with spilling of anything on the system and all of a sudden in Dec 2020 the screen suddenly faded to white. It seemed like a full layer over the screen. I have then updated to the latest software, tried all boot-ups options, and taken to the nearest service center. They said since it’s an old model it might be wearing out and they don’t offer any practical solution....

Chosen Solution When I was prying the motherboard cover off due to an accident with water I stupidly managed to knock a small component off (see attached image). I’m not sure what it is but I imagine it’s a standoff/ground of some sort? What is it? Can I fix it back on? I’m not sure what it was fixed on with but there is little residue. Those are soldered to the board....
