Theo, from your description it does sound like a failed backlight circuitry. Your LCD uses an LED backlight, so there are two things that could be at fault. One is the LCD panel itself or the backlight driver on your logic board....

I just googled and found youtube videos that reveal you must remove the transmission entirely to fix the leaking CSC on this vehicle. Very bad design. Chosen Solution When i power on the mac with the mouse and keyboard coencted to USB the MAC don´t start and tell me a setup USB error. If i disconect the USB mouse and keyboard the computer boot fine, but if i conect the USB mouse or keyboard the computer give me a screen with “you have to restart the computer”, restart and don´t boot again.-…please help!!! i thought this was caused by damage on the logic board, so i buy one on ebay, replace it and the same problem again....

They told me the black square thing is not working(see attached pic). ‘‘The battery was working without adapter in his store which shows 40% life. Chosen Solution All my 3 internal microphones gone after battery replacement, i open and close, it works for a while and then again…only microphones, speakers, even the upper one, work, recharge works, but not microphones, can be caused by bad contact on the spring connector? sounds like it could possibly be audio ic or damaged component when changing port , first though would be to re-seat all connectors, then hang a new charge port in, if that doesn’t fix it....
