When my phone is overheating, the top of my phone starts glitching. After disable the overlays, it’s still glitching. The only way to make it stop glitching is by cooling the phone. Any answers?

Hi, The following is to find out if the problem is software or hardware related Try starting the phone in safe mode and check if the problem still happens. I realize that this is not for your model but couldn’t find out how to do it for your model and this is the same brand of phone so hopefully it is the same. If it doesn’t happen in safe mode then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall. When it works OK then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the problem. If it still happens when in safe mode try resetting the phone using the phone’s factory restore feature. Be aware that a factory restore (aka factory reset or hard reset) will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its’ factory default or last system updated condition. So therefore it is important that you backup the phone to a computer or the cloud before performing the factory restore. Once you have backed up the phone using the phone’s backup feature, factory restore the phone using the phone’s factory restore feature. Once the phone has been reset, test its’ operation. If it is still faulty there is a hardware problem and the phone will need to be opened and further diagnosed as to the cause of the problem. If the phone works OK and once you are satisfied that all is well, using the backup that was made earlier, restore the phone to what it was with the phone’s restore feature. Onced the phone has been restored test it to make sure that everything is still OK
