My phone only charges when it’s off and plugged up… It has been cutting off by itself and it doesn’t vibrate anymore. What could be wrong??
well there could be a lot of things wrong but lets go with the simplest things first. your charger may not be optimized to charge your phone to the full capacity. some phones require a higher amperage in order to charge. if you are not using the charger that came with the phone and a proper cord then sometimes the phone won’t charge unless it is off so first check that. the second thing that can keep a phone from charging even when it is plugged up is that there are too many apps open using energy so no matter what charger you use it just won’t be enough to charge your phone the way to fixed this is to close all of your open or background apps. some phones come with a feature where you can see what apps you have open and others you have to download a task manager and close all inactive apps from there. the last simple reason that i am listing is the one that has no real fix, overheating. if you use apps which are processor heavy users then the phone will get hot. if the phone is charging the phone also gets hot. you combine the two and now you have overheating. this really sucks because it is more of an app and phone issue then anything else. the only way around this is to not use the apps or just leave the phone off while it is charging. when it is charged use the phone and when you have to charge again stop using the phone. i had an alcatel a while ago and this is the issue i was having my phone overheated all the time. one thing i did do that help though was to externally cool it off. i would put it on an ac unit, put something cold on the back of it like ice packs, or use a fan or something to try to keep it as cool as possible. i hope that this information helps you and that you are able to charge your phone without worry soon.
