i have a iphone xr and for awhile now the display has been terrible. this is a really weird thing happening so if you need more context lmk. my phone has lines that appear and fade away depending on what color it’s displaying (mostly white and black). for example right now i am on the ifixit website but there is white pixels going along the x axis so there are no lines but if it was pure black or i was on a youtube full screen or dark mode it would cause a bunch of lines to appear until a white pixel would appear. if there is one white pixel on the x axis that whole pixel going up on the axis would be clear.
In my experience this indicates the display needs to be replaced.
