My pc turns black and says no signal while I can hear the computer running. It worked fine for around a year but then it keeps on crashing during some play sessions and it only happens to certain games. My own conclusion was that there was something wrong with the PSU but i am not sure.
Hi, According to p.4 of the GPU user guide, a 550W PSU is the minimum power requirement, so it may be pushing it a bit as there would be no capacity left if a bit more was needed. I don’t know the game but here’s a video that shows what to check if CS:GO won’t start that may help.
If your monitor loses its signal unexpectedly, the problem may be your PC-to-monitor connection. Please try the following: First, unplug your monitor cable from both ends: the PC and your monitor. Then, plug it back in. Try to plug the cable in different ports, if possible. Second, reinstall the monitor drivers. Open Device Manager by typing devmgmt.msc in the Search Box at the bottom of your screen. In Device Manager, scroll down to the “Monitors” entry and double-click to expand the list. On the list, right-click your monitor driver and select “Uninstall device” from the popup menu. Finally, restart your PC. Windows will automatically detect your monitor and install the drivers it recommends. If these do not work, try a cable you know is good.
