The problem started this March 2017. We went on a night swimming and my friend went for a slide with my phone and the pool was 7ft I think. After that the bottom mic near the speaker didnt function. Until now. I know I am too late but is there any solution? Samsung wont repair water damaged phone for free. Pls answersssss
I think you would have to replace the charge port, microphones are very sensitive and can be damaged easily. While you open it, you should clean the logic board with isopropyl alcohol to get rid of the corrosion. Electronics Water Damage Samsung Galaxy S7 Teardown
Send it to a repair shop to replace the microphone.
Give it to your friend to slide down again …
