My MacBook Pro is not turning on, but I can hear the battery chime when connected to power. I tried resetting the SMC by pressing “shift+control+option+power button”, but nothing happened. I have talked to an Apple store, they said the LCD screen may be damaged, but there are no signs of physical damage. Can anyone please tell me what could be the problem? If anyone has faced similar problem, what did you do?
